    SWEET. I'll be doing the same footprint shorter to get a kitchen in. On the list. Which as an 80 owner you know is long and never ending... Safe travels.

      @@CruisinMiles Me too! I work for Dometic and have access to all sorts of overlander product. I don't want the platform to be a hassle when in "daily driver mode" so we'll see how it all goes.

      @@LostandFoundTravel Nice! Just pulled the trigger on a budget fridge/freezer… would not mind having a dometic at all though.
      I have some plans to upgrade this platform soon though.

    Man I love this platform. I am thinking about buying one from Chris as well. I'm down in San Diego so he's local for me. The only thing stopping me is my wife wants to keep the third row seats for now.

      Of course. I had mentioned it in the video, but yes, the overall height of the platform is 12.25” inches

      I couldn’t tell you what kind of wood and what size… it’s a secret. Just kidding. I don’t know that stuff lol. I’ll have to contact the builder and find out for you. I’ll get back to you.

      I ordered them from SolveFunction.com
      They actually sell them in 3D printed versions now.
      But It shouldn’t be too hard to make your own

    Six feet to the lip where the headrest starts or all the way to the top of the headrest? I am 6' 7" and curious how it would fit me

      All the way to the top of the headrest.. 6’7” might be too tall lol. You’d need to extend this to suit you. I’m 5’8.
