Shaun killer job man, looks absolutely amazing. Only thing I would do in clean the headliner from what looks like mud or mold but other than that I'm super jealous!

For anyone who’s seen those stedi rock climber lights they are soo much powerful than what the camera shows us. Can’t wait to see what shauno thinks out in the dark.
Been following these channel for a couple of years.Shawn I followed how you built the Dirty 30 from beginning to end and now Sooty.You Jock have actually inspired me into building up my own rig even though I'm not a mechanic.Mate hats off for you guys for a marvelous job.Cant change a thing it's perfect.Well done.

The whole build just looks magic. Loving that colour. So many parts of it that are amazingly simple in concept but not so simple in execution, but you and your team have pulled them off so skillfully. Oooh and bush-bars would be a good addition lol. Cant wait to see the Tassie trip.

Shauno that is an absolutely spectacular build mate. I loved the old Soot so much but you’ve done her proud with the new one! If I could change one thing it would be the slightly dodgy disco lights in the arches 😂. Look forward to seeing Soot2 in action. Thank you guys 😊

Sooty 2 looks great and you all put a lot of design into it. Definitely not a budget build, but it seems to be designed so well, everything should last a good long time. Can’t wait to see it in action.

I went with the Stedi Pro X for my truck, they are awesome and an Aussie crew out of Melbourne. Their portable work lights are awesome and have strong magnets too!

Those interior lights are awesome ! now you can see all the roof mould in the night as well !
A HUGE congratulations on finishing your build mate. For me personally, I reckon a few to many lights. But I've never seen a meaner looking old 80. Sooty is looking mint. Now get her out on the tracks where she belongs.
Mate this is a great build, im new to the 4bie scene but mechanically minded and what you have done to sooty is what I would like to do. The only thing different I would do is have a hard pop up tent on the roof. Other then that, fantastic build mate!
The trails will tell...it looks dope af. Cant wait to see the new content with this build in it. Looking forward to some trailblazin. Thank you for all the awesome adventures.

Replies
Front driveshaft is around the wrong way, it will hit the swaybar and damage the shaft. Please upvote so shauno will see. The slip and stub should be where the hump is for the swaybar as it has more clearance than the driveshaft tube.

quick question, what size ift kit and tires do you have on sooty and was it hard to get it road worth
I was thinking the same 35's beadlocks lift my 80 would have been sent home with a big no from the rego man. Engineered maybe but they never tell you believe me I've asked 🙄 awesome rig though 🤟

You guys are the biggest channel and don't take a stand of why you are not supporting a fellow content creator. This is still RUclips and a community. You should make it clear why you are not wanting to share your exposure to make sure the message gets out, or take a stand and tell your viewers why you won't
I’m sure there are a myriad of reasons as to why they do and don’t support certain entities. I’m sure sponsorship has a lot to do with it though.

Sometime one should put the people first, then sponsorships. I know that is not easy in the world of contracts and agreements.
