Garlic Knots. makes 12 rolls. bake for 20 minutes 375ºF
    3/4 cup warm water
    3 Tbsp. sugar or honey
    2 1/4 tsp. yeast
    **Let proof 5 minutes
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
    3/4 cups buttermilk or milk
    1 room temperature egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 1/2-4 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
(add only enough flour for dough to clear the side of bowl and not be too sticky)
    **Knead 4 minutes
    **Let rise, covered, 30-40 minutes
**Roll into 12 roll, that will be rolled into 10-12 inch ropes. Use a bit of flour on the outside of the ropes if they are too sticky to tie into knots
**Tie into knots and place on a baking sheet, cover with a tea towel and let rise 30-40 minutes.
**Bake 20 minutes in a pre-heated, 375ºF, oven. Make sure the rolls are done by checking the internal temperature with a quick read thermometer. They should have an internal temperature of 190ºF
    Garlic Topping
**Make this while the rolls are baking
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3 cloves minced garlic
    1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1/4 tsp. salt (in the video I used 1/2 tsp but feel 1/4 is a better amount)
**in a small pan heat over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes. Just trying to take the raw edge off of the garlic.
**Spoon over hot rolls and serve.
These rolls are very good without the garlic topping. We often just make a few garlic rolls for dinner and freeze the rest of the rolls for eating without the garlic topping later in the week.
