Riley being forced to do that honestly is soo amusing. I love hearing his hopefully simple enough tech tips and the average persons reaction to them. It's honestly gold haha
It’s a classic tech tip for a reason, effective Googling is a skill that only people in quite a small cohort would have been taught in school after Google existed but before it went all in on NLP for query noise reduction in like 2008 so I’m not surprised the guy both didn’t know and appreciated the utility
Seriously. That's only slightly more than what I paid for my SFF case, which is a lot more basic. The SFF tax makes total sense because it's a lot more niche but they have to be spending tons more on shipping/storing these since they're 2-3 times as large. It seems like just enough to feel fancy to people but still be really competitive.
Yeah, tons of super neat features, both of the useful and aesthetic varieties, clearly a ton of thought into basically every part, was definitely expecting it to be like $400
What I like the most is that it's kind of an arms race. A lot of these little doors and hinges remind me of the original Lancool II mesh and the newer one as well. In the last like 5 years cases have become so so so much better than the glass boxes everyone wanted.
I honestly feel like the price is spot on for something like this. I mean sure its a bit up there in price but next to some other cases that will come out with something less and not look as good. I think they did well with this setup and the black case with a custom water loop will look really dang good.
It certainly looks pretty. But no 5 1/4" drive bays though. Pass.

@@wherearemytesticles the O11 is, after all, an improved version of the PC-O9 from 2016, they just made it slimmer and now the side ventilation is fed directly from the outside instead of the second chamber so it has unimpeded airflow.
@@Namiz00I’d be curious of the temps in this one. The side fans are pulling through mesh fans as well as the bottom having access to fresh air from the slant. With top exhaust. How many of the rear fans should also be exhaust would need to be tested, but you can reverse them apparently. Interesting and clean looking. I just wouldn’t want this many fans.
@@Iniwid yea, I was thinking that minimum, even when he said it's actually not that bad, I was still expecting $250. Just bought a case for my next build, might have to be returning it.
I really liked this case overview. Everything was thoughtfully shown off and explained, definitely a case that’s fit for showing off. Will be interesting to see the GN case testing results.
the more i see coverage of this case, the more i love it, every video i've seen so far will go over one thing or so that someone else missed or just didnt mention. like the fill port and drain port already drilled stock. i've already decided this'll be my next case when it's available but that just makes the decision more solidified.
I worked hard on my rig and show it off in my Living room and the way it is positioned you can see all the cables out the back. The way they did the cable management on the back of the NV7 is hands down enough to make me buy this. I can't wait to get this case, hope I can pre-order it!
I absolutely love their new RGB fans that are inverted so that the aesthetics of their products are consistent and super clean. I hope other major fan manufacturers start doing this as well
Quite honestly really impressed by this case. I have a solid case that I like, don't get me wrong, but this thing has so so many creature comforts in a case, not to mention it is truly a beautiful showpiece.
I was watching the video and thinking about the price of the case, I was telling myself that if this is 200$ I will buy it for sure, now I really want this, cant wait for February!!
I honestly don't understand how they expect to hit that price point, I was floored when I heard how much it was. Would instantly buy a version that isn't so obnoxiously gigantic, maybe something intended for mATX
Damn, I love this case. I also cannot believe no-one (especially Corsair) hadn't done daisy chained fans before now. *edit* - THAT PRICE. I’m amazed. I’ve also just seen Seasonic’s Magflow fans
As a proud owner of P600s from Phanteks and seeing their continued progress, I don't think it will be easy to switch a case brand. Just looking at their packaging and manuals you see the thought and care that goes behind their cases.
That's a nice case Phanteks! Congratulations, it looks like a lot of hard work and development! Its too big a case for me but I would actually buy one if it just barely fit an ATX system
3:05 I've been so tired lately, that dude's reflection in the glass made me panick as I thought someone was behind me IRL. I'm going to finish watching this one tomorrow I need some sleep.
This case makes sense from a thermodynamics pov. The PSU being at the top allows the heat to escape out and away from the rest of the rig instead of heat soaking the other components and creating more warm air that needs to be cooled. I may look into this case when my Crystal 680x gets boring.
This case is all I wanted in a case so I am realy happy this exist now and it’s cheap too and you can call it a hybrid case because it’s both a showcase case and a performance case in one
Heard of this from Gamers Nexus. Seeing Adam getting really into the details makes me so hype for this! ... Likely never going to get to purchase and make use of said case, but I'm excited for what Phanteks has cooking up if they have something like this that actually feels unique in the "not O11D" space.
I still call a dual internal CD drive PC the pinnacle of computer tech, However: This case does provide a certain artistic flair that certainly could be many awards winning.
I literally JUST finished building my new rig all custom water cooled in a Corsair 5000D, and this case looks and has EVERYTHING that I’ve wanted in a case without being another O11!!… I’m upset because I know that once this case launches I will be buying it and rebuilding my rig AGAIN, wasting sooo much more money in the process, all because this thing checks every single box for me and looks incredible 😂😢
That back panel has issues. Your usb stuff will need to have very bendy cables in order to bend them so the door can close and if you notice there is nothing plugged into the GPU. An HDMI cable sticking out is going to stop that panel from closing.

as someone who remembers the old insane heavy cases from 90'searlier. that's the first white case i have thought was sexy in many decades. oh no. i think i might be old
I’ve just finished a build in the NZXT H9 Flow, which is a great case, probably the best NZXT case they have done yet. But this Phanteks case looks even better, they have though of so many things and it looks gorgeous.
