I love this design because most fish tank cases and pc cases in general edge you towards using a 3 in 4 out fan config, unless you want the back fan to be in. Which often times lowers performance compared to a 4 in 3 out config and even just 4 in 4 out. Love to see a case manufacturer innovating which isn’t done much these days other than the glass on dual chamber cases. Correct me if I’m wrong though.
Great to see you cover this case, so soon. I would very much recommend you do another build with this in the future but showcase the additions the case has. 1. The Premium Vertiical GPU mount 2. Additional RGB (not in stock anywhere at present). What I will say is, having built one in black and using Corsair's latest additions with iCue Link AIO and QX fans. They are a high price but I have to say they look amazing and are prebuilt as well as so easy to install. Its also very easy to use the case buttons to select a colour for the cases own RGB and then partner that with various presets for the AIO/FANS/RAM.
Great video! I have got those 120mm fans sitting on my desk waiting on other parts for my new build :) Ordered this case just now too looks great and cant wait to build it! Thanks!
@@adamysterio67 If you pay attention you will see that the base on which the matherbort rests is warped. On the central screw facing the front of the case, there is a difference of more than 1.5 mm and the screw below a difference of 1 mm. This causes the matherboard to warp when tightening the screws. What a big mistake by Panteks NV5, this case has poor quality control. The most serious thing is that you damage the matherboard. I had to compensate for the unevenness of my case, with washers, just so the mtherboard remained level. Very bad.
Marcus I think you should float this idea to some of the manufacturers regarding the HD Audio cable showing the ugly colours. All they have to do during the wiring process is slip over a heat shrink shroud then once the connector is complete just apply some heat from a heat gun and the shroud will shrink completely covering the coloured cables leaving a clean finish. I am a marine electrician and use this process in work everyday.
Nice case, but it will be as or more expensive than a Fractal Torrent by the time you buy all the fans. (assuming you buy premium rgb fans) I'm thinking about the Lian Li 216, which includes the fans. The main feature for me is mounting a 360 AIO to the top, and still having airflow fans for the case.
just built a new system in this case along with the d30 fans and glacierd30 aio and it is such an amazing case and very easy to work with! also a quick note of the gpu bracket- it can be extended out so it hugs the gpu not just hold it

@@Fredsinator I’ve seen the same, I didn’t need the bracket with my new 7800xt as it just came short so i took it out but kept for future upgrades, plenty of space for when even bigger cards come out
Hello James, can I ask you please, I'm looking to buy this case, my current case is ugly and a bit old, but very good and silent, BeQuiet 900 rev2, but I don't need such a big case, so my question is is the NV5 good when it comes to sound? doesn't have to be dead silent, but not loud or noisy, my only big/noisy thing is that I have an RTX 3080 12 Gig Aorus master, what do you think? Thank you
That sounds like you pinched a cable somewhere, maybe an RGB or a fan cable is sending some power into the case. If it was truly a design flaw that would be catastrophic.
it makes me feel so much better about myself when a lot of these big PC guys go to power up a PC and have it not start or display out when I've only done 4 PC builds in my life and every one went flawlessly haha. Granted, i also spend anywhere from 4-7 hours on each build triple checking each and every component to make sure there's zero problems before the golden moment while these guys can probably whip one out in 45-60 minutes.....
PC looks FANtastic...I'm looking forward to a follow-up on the issue with the motherboard. I have this in my cart ready to check out but I want to know the main issue and fix before I commit.
That... isn't how the GPU bracket is supposed to be used.. it can go wider and be raised higher to actually cradle the GPU and not just support weight on the widest point, becoming a potential point of failure and breaking or bending. RTFM

The GPU support bracket is supposed to “brace” the GPU. You have it sitting on the tip holding it up and that’s the incorrect method.
