It's 3 fans (120mm) on the bottom! You need to put them in the case, then put the cover over, then screw them in while they are already set inside. The edges of the case prevent you from pre screwing them into the frame but it works perfectly this way.
I LOVE my Hyte Y60 in Red. Build quality is outstanding and it looks amazing. Friends always comment how nice it looks. I waited a long time for it to arrive in the UK. I don't see a Red option for Y70 Touch but for those looking to update their case, a Hyte case makes total sense🥰
I can imagine that built in touch screen being extremely useful for streamers as it’s almost perfect for stream chats being able to quickly scroll up and down instead of switching screens or using a whole monitor for it other than that maybe just a fancy weather/time/notification display?
I’d imagine that if it doesn’t have the already built in ability to be more than a weather display then it could easily be modded to become what is wanted by the user.
@@warmad2596 What are you saying? There are people who have bought/built desks in the past 30 years that are NOT "L" shaped? (there is no hope for someone like that)
another super hot fire review marcus!!! I was considering getting a Hyte case before I built my current pc but it seemed a bit too complicated. Thanks for walking us through the whole way!!
Ok proper comment now. This case is out of my price range for a first build. But it is awesome. I like the yellow cables as well they work as something a bit different. You have become my go to channel for Pc info. Keep up the good work, us noobs need the help :)
Just did a build for my kid with a Y60. What a case. I used to think my Lian Li was cool! The screen on theY70 is cool, but we went with a Lian Li Galahad II AIO, which displays all kinds of info, so the screen would really be redundant.
What I love about this channel is a creator building gaming PCs but they support practical applications. You use a mix of components and different components for each build without over emphasizing gaming editing or rendering. As someone using a rig for LLMs I appreciate that!
My immediate reaction is “oh my, that looks awesome” my subsequent reaction is “why would you spend that much on a case to drop an i5 and a 6700xt into it?” Lol then I realised it was simply to get a nice white build and to show off the case itself. Bloody good video as always :)
@@thomassloan781 oh believe me, this was not a complaint about the 6700xt, it was the price of a high end case and not having a high end graphics card, hell I can’t talk, I run an ACER Nitro 5 from 2020 with a 1660Ti in it, I would absolutely love a 6700xt 🤣
Mine will be here Tuesday 🙏🏻I got the Snow White edition. I do like the Matte black inside the white light reflects off it. Gives it a nice touch. Always a great video 👌
Ouch that utilization was crazy. Looks cool, would have to wait till they work out all the kinks, especially the utilization. Thanks for the in-depth review! 👍
It's definitely a cool idea, but being that laggy, resource intensive combined with the price is a turn-off for me, Basically The whole reason they went with this design case was to show off the inside that's the whole reason they cut off the corner. So, to put a 4K screen there kind of defeats that purpose. It's a Nifty idea, even if there were no glitches or lag It's about as far as a cool idea, that's it. so for me if you're going to have a clean showy case like this, then you really need to put a screen somewhere that's not going to be blocking your view. Why put a 4K screen in the way of what the whole purpose of the case is? I'm still quite new at PC building. Just start getting into it, but for instance I got that radiator that has that LCD screen on the core pump, (something cooler i think, I haven't tried it out yet, but point being, there's nothing that it's blocking(view of), its not in the way of anything, and you can display anything you want on it and given it's size, I would imagine it's refresh rate and resolution aren't going to be in issue. And I think that would be much more useful, as well as look really cool. I have a background in architecture, so my brain is constantly in that form VS function mode. A 4K screen, where it stands, [to me] would have very little function to it.(not entirely absent just little) the case is more directed for form, and if that's the case(no pun intended), then you should just keep it that way. so here's my opinion, put something there to add to it's form with no Inention of something for function. I'm thinking In the same space instead of a 4k touchscreen, it should be an augmented reality screen. This way even while in use, you can still see thru it, but it's use would be purely for fun, you can add things ti the screen to make whatever you want appear to be in the case, it could be a diffrent set uop, live action figures, what it would look like filled with water an fish swimming in it idk but it would remain See thru but with some added fun with augmented material displayed, would prolly be less resource intensive too, and would give it a cool 3d holographic effect when looking at it too so that's what I think replace th 4k touch screen with 4k AR screen also match cool colors together and warm colors together, yellow not look good with white, but rather blues or violets, maybe greens, yellow goes with warm colors so reds oranges. this build I think a Teal color cables would've looked sick1
For the LGA 1700 CPUs, it's best to get the 1700 frame, take that bracket off and replace it with it, the CPU's temp will drop dramatically and the highest temps will be so low, my 12600KF highest temp is now 63c with a 280mm be quiet! Loop 2........And it was so easy to replace and the LGA frame fits perfectly.
Awesome, was about to get the Y60, likely waiting now until they have more of the Y70 Reds in stock. I wanted my first build to have a vertical mounted GPU, I find it looks better that way. Add tons of fans and the fans from AIO (to cool the i9 12900k)...and I'll be gold!
Okay, I know the yellow cables look weird, but at 21:26 when you use the black/white swirl for the screen, it looks really nice. Because the screen displays the info in yellow and it ties it all together.
FYI the touchscreen is 4k and considered another monitor and can affect performance, so a higher end GPU is recommended :) i'm leaning towards this case for my next build but loving the lian li xl that was just released also....great vid as always :) gg
@@basicoptimalmouse to my knowledge, if you have a dedicated GPU, it automatically disables access to the integrated graphics and you cant override this. even if you could, you'd be CPU bound. But if 4k is sapping to much performance, id imagine you can drop it down to 1440p (2k) and get a sizeable chunk of performance back.
White black and yellow go together. Ideally you should run yellow lights or just get a couple more yellow components and the tricolor combo would be sick af
