DIY Copic Case

- Today I built a Copic / Pen case... And general art supply holder!
You will need - Foam Board 5mm thick, Big Tape, Hot Glue, Metal Rulers and a Stanly Knife. .. And about 3 hours to build it in.
Case measurements are:
2x Top & Bottom shelves: 15cm deep (to interact with pack panel) x 51xm long
4x Middle shelves: 14.5cm deep x 51cm
50x Shelf dividers: 6cm x 14.5cm
1x Back panel -- 52cm wide x 34cm tall (trim if necessary )

You can make your own music with a variety of options or download some that are pre made. I have done both to try them out, both features are great depending on what your after from your track.
Thank you for the video I have 360 copic markers and they where in a bin before and I had to dig to find a marker after watching this video I made this shelf with parent supervision and I love my new shelf I decorated my new shelf and love the sizing and everything thank you for the video

Beautiful! I need to make one that size for my colored pencil, watercolor pencils and Inktense collection. Before the end of this video you had me reeled in for sure. I couldn't help myself, I have to see more. I am totally and helplessly addicted to making art and trying new art supplies. I must have every new art supplies that entices me. My all time love is colored pencils though. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

Gerstaecker in Dresden. Well the store exists in different countries. They sold all Copic marker sorts and extras and they were cheap for me. Around 5.49 euro for a Copic Sketch marker

You may need to adjust these measurements to suit your supplies or depending which thickness of foam board you get :)

The foam is called “foam board” it’s stronger than you’d think when it’s all been glued together. It’s been about a year and we have moved house once and about to again and it’s still in one piece 👌😅
I think if I did it again I’d do mine smaller just for pens and put my refills in a drawer. 👌😅
what is the size of the side panels and how far apart do you have the shelf dividers?
how many you need the foam board?
is it just glue on eaxh individual marker? I feel like it will come crashing down.
How do I make sure my angles are 90 degrees tho?
I guess you could also maybe get a T ruler

My friend was waving a stick in my face and I was trying to defend myself. I grabbed it and it had HOT glue on the end of it. When I tried to take it of it had dried so I had to RIP it off my skin

I do keep an eye on comments on older videos. I had ordered one box of 10 sheets of foam board (foam core), I believe I used 6. I have since used the rest on display stands for events. It's pretty handy stuff, so don't feel bad for ordering a bit more than what you need for the pen stand. :) I have sizes and things in the video description section f the video for more info :)

ok I have a question that I want to ask only in the comments, I'm an artist, I've been doing art for almost 2 years now, and I think I'm pretty decent, I want to make an art RUclips channel, do u know what I should do?
BUTTERMILK_ bug well in my limited experience having the courage to say "I am ready to show the world" is the first big step. Next is finding your niche - and your brand. :)
Then it's all about setting your channel up, and (I didn't do this) but plan your first video - a draw my life or meet the artist type video would introduce you to new people and let them see you and your personality :)
You will likely be nervous - and in a years time look back and cringe (like I do and many other youtubers) maybe start and do some offline to get a feel for recording yourself and talking to the camera :)

There used to be a wooden frame with foam interests slightly smaller than this on an American hobby website - I was going to try to get one shipped to the UK - but they stopped making them about 2 1/2 years ago so I compromised and made it myself modelled off of Baylees old pen stand

I Have a Bunk Bed I don't Have to Share my Brother Has his own Bed In his Bed But I Have the One with Stairs I Draw and Put all My markers up there With A fluffy Bed and Blanket I got A portable Charger I bring up there So This Helped me Now I don't have a Messy Bed And so Thx

How much sheets of the form board did you use?
Depends what size board you are using. I bought a box of 10 A2 sheets but I think I used 5 or 6 sheets. It was a long time ago now :) I know I had enough to use at conventions for various tasks. Foam board is handy to have so not too bad if you end up with too much :)

how many markers does it hold?
A lot- probably all the copic sketches with room to spare (I don’t have them all) you can work out how much space you need by measuring each market and working out it’s net space
