Buy another one, glue them together so the backs both face out, then take one of the backs off That way the pens don't stick out, it would balance better and kiki can be happy again!
“i feel like i didn’t give the sketchbook slam a good enough chance” NO BAYLEE STOP “hehe just kidding” i think 14,000 people almost started crying when they saw that
Actually she made it at least 2011 because baylee said she had it for 7 years or so and 2013 is only 5 years ago, she made this back when she had her ZkittyZ art channel cause i remember i watched her make this on her old art channel. R.I.P Old copic case
The new Copic storage looks great. I would either put other art supplies in those cubbies or rearrange them so the top row was empty and put trinkets and figures in there as inspiration.
Get the velcro command strips for picture frames to put on the bottom of your copic case to adhere to the desk.... still removable but it will stay in place.
I've worked with velcro command strips, and they are extremely hard to snap on and off. Regular velcro would be a better option, but then I would have velcro strips on the desk when I remove the case.
Jessica Evans maybe really strong magnets under the desk and in the bottom of the case on the outside, but the desk might be too thick that it won't even magnet together
I have that marker storage from Michael's. It's not that bad. But if you have a collection over 100 you'll need 2 of them. 3 if over 200. There's 21 slots and 6 copic sketch markers fit in each one. So 126 markers it can hold. The space below is found it nice for storing the little 2oz bottles of craft paint. Refill might fit in there nice too and then there's the little drawers for even more storage.
thank you so much for not only finding that new storage frame but also filming and saying where you got it, ive been looking for one for 3 months not having time to make one i ran out and bought one today and it is amazing!!!
maybe instead of doing a stand for your copic stand that sticks out, you could do something that grabs on to your desk since it's on the edge anyway? similar to how some monitor arms have the screw on clamp to screw it to the edge of the desk. this way it will also look nice (or not look any different) from the front :)
You could try emailing artist loft see if they will send you the markers to review? the new marker case looks great! If you can’t figure out anything else to put in the extra spots maybe cute figures to decorate until you need the space for markers?
I just redid my Copic storage on the weekend too - I was running out of space so I added another Ikea media box with drawer dividers. I had empty cubbie holes after I did that, so I spaced my markers out across all the empty spots. You could do that or add other fine liners or gel pens in the spaces on the end. The new storage looks awesome! :)
I have that storage unit you were looking at on Michael's website. I actually use it for my makeup. It would be a little small for your Copics, but it's great for other things. What's nice about it is that the marker holder unit can come out. I used to set mine on top the unit for an added shelf but then I cleaned out a lot of my makeup so I didn't need the extra shelf so the marker holder (which I use for my eyeliners and lip liners) is back inside the unit. This is great if you can catch it on sale. I got mine 50% off. I have the three draw unit too (again I use it for my makeup). The drawers come out but there aren't any shelves to replace them. The drawers are also divided, but the dividers can come out. I got that for free when my cousin was cleaning out his house (his wife had a bunch of crafting stuff she didn't use so agreed to get rid of it).
I actually just bought that Desktop organizer! the one with the marker space on top and 2 drawers on bottom, would definitely recommend if you don't have a lot of markers and need storage too(it's currently holding my copics, sharpies, liner pens, ink pens, pencils, watercolor brushes and gelly roller pens just in the marker slots!)
I really like using the soda crate for markers as well! I haven’t painted mine yet, not sure if I will because I kind of like it as just the wood. Kiki was so polite in the beginning, I wonder if he actually understood. I swear whenever I say my cats need to move, they readjust themselves to be even more in my way!
6:14 you were talking about if you could take a second case and add the Marker storage onto the first, i have done this, it works if you take the 2 dividers out but then it causes the issue since the only thing keeping it from sitting right on top the the drawers is a vertical divider so it kinda rocks back and forth, glad you found the case you were looking for, i may upgrade to something like that later in life but for anyone who was looking at that little unit from Michael's, i got 2 of them, i like them, the cubbies are kinda small (can only fit around 6 Copic Ciao or 5 Copic Sketch) if you bought 3 and made a single one an entire marker case it would look alright (if you don't mind seeing the slot cuts on the sides), best for people who don't have that many markers... or much storage xDD
You could move the top row down to fill the space in and then put little trinkets and knick knacks in the top row until you have markers to fill in the space? I’m not sure how big the space is but those blind bags you can buy for stuff like FNAF or other major gaming/TV shows seem like they would fit. Like the small Disney tsum tsum would be super cute!!! Since you have a bunch already from the toy channel you won’t have to spend any money either. Just a random thought. Not really sure if it’s what you’re going for though. Hope you figure out something that fits well though!!!!!
I got the Artist Loft marker packs at Michaels on sale for $10 per pack in January, I like them and am using them before I invest in copics, I do find the brush nibs fray easily though.
Huh. I was using the same shelf for my copics for about a year before deciding that it was a very annoying shelf and upgrading to some deeper ones. Sometimes I would reach for a marker and brush up against some others, and they would all fall out. I never had an issue with them falling over, but I had mine up against a wall. Be weary!
i am trying to watch the blog and absorb the content but i am so distracted by your hair!!! this colour looks so good on you and it turned out so pretty??? i love it so much!!!
Dear,Baylee Jae you inspired me I watch your videos every day I try to copy your artwork I love your artwork and they’re printed all over my room I have your book and you just inspired me so much I love you you’re my favorite RUclips or I wish I can meet you but I don’t was in Canada sadly but you’re just my favorite RUclips and I just wanted to let you know so yeah love Lexi
I would fill all the bottom compartments of the case and leave the top empty of markers, then use it as storage or little display, you have a bucnh of mini figurines and cute erasers you could stick in there, so it looks more intentional not empty, and it would also make it more bottom heavy
the bottle crates you got at 14mins I own that shelf for my copic markers and they do stick out. a bit and if you knock in they do fall out. But I love the handles. It allowed me to grab and go when needed.
You could add flat sticks on the bottom to keep the case from tipping - like popsicle sticks and the markers on the bottom would cover where they stick out.
You should really invest in some supports for the back like those triangle brackets or a clever application of those bookends I think I've seen some people on Pinterest use them. Like if you never moved the case then you can just permanently mount it onto the desk using either triangle brackets or bookends or maybe even just like long screws but the triangle brackets would probably work the best.
Love the new copic case!! I would have to move the top layer down and fill the empty ones on the bottom and put something else like little cups of erasers or other office supplies on the top layer if it was me though lol it makes my brain feel all sizzly if it's off like that. Whatever works for you though it's always fun to freshen things up a bit.
our kitties could be twins!!!! also you could take the back out of one of the marker holders glue 2 together an u have a perfect storage for your copics!!!
I own four of the tall skinny copic storage, there are great. I bought them off Etsy, store name organizemore. I think currently the Etsy shop down and it looks like you can still order them from their website.
I'm not comfortable using a table saw for such tiny pieces of wood. Plus, it would be a pretty big project to undertake, as opposed to just going to Michael's and spending $17.
Hey Baylee! How about attaching a kickstand like the ones on the backs of photo frames to stop the new case from tipping over? All you'd need would be a photo frame and some screws/glue :)
I have that recollections organizer but use it for my prismacolor color pencils but I'm soooo wishing I was as brilliant as you and got one of those little wood crates!! So smart and I'm so going to copy girl THANK YOU
Dear baylee, A word of advice, you shouldn’t get artists loft dual tip markers because they aren’t easy to blend. They also break easily and aren’t as good of range as copics. Copics as you may know are blendable while even using an artists loft blender isn’t easy to blend different colors and other colors darker or lighter. From, A concerned fan
Other people have said this but get another one of those shelf’s and add to the back! :) You can take the back piece off one and glue them together for a really nice case that’s not so easy to tip!
I have that first unit you were looking at on the Michaels website, it use it for my makeup. And I use the marker storage for my copics, I only have like 50 markers and it’s mostly full, the top would not have fit in the middle section.
You could buy those sticky tabs with Velcro that you use to hang pictures on the wall and affix it to the bottom of the copic case, it would not be sturdy enough for the cat to jump up (I think) but then If you knock it with your elbow or knock the table it wouldn’t move
I have those recollections shelves with the marker dividers and they don't really work well for a large collection. I tried to put the marker insert in the middle shelf and NOPE, does not fit. I keep my pens in it but not my markers. each slot only fits like four copics.
I have that marker case from Michaels you were looking at. I only bought it cause it was half off and I found it by the frames instead of with all the other organization stuff. I almost gave up on finding it in store but something was telling me to go by the frames. Depending on what you stuff in the storage it fits a good amount of stuff and I think you can get additional dividers for it but I believe it is only online that you can buy it?????
Artist loft markers are really good but the brush nib does fray when it is used constantly and it does not hold much ink, other than that 5 stars! ( Basicly for people who are just getting started) (I do suggest you try the hobby lobby brand too just because they are way better than Artist loft)
Nae Rob We have a store going out of business here and they are having a huge sale tomorrow, I’m gonna see if I can get maybe some cheap alcohol brush markers if they have some, and maybe some clay, it’s mostly a quilting store, but they do have some art supplies.
I am new to this channel and love your videos so far. I came to be inspired during my artist's block and you are quite the inspiration! I love this storage idea. I'm always looking for tidier ways to store my art supplies because my space is super small. Also, I noticed you mention Bellingham! I live very close!
Hey Baylee! What if you glued a piece of wood to the back of the copic case like a photo frame? It wouldn't tip over that way and it would be less work too! Just a suggestion
Why don't you save the old storage for your kitty? He/she is so beautiful. reminds me of our cat Felix. We had to put him to sleep last November 24th. We miss him so much.
Omg the title has done me a frighten. It’s the end of an era. RIP old copic case 😭
Buy another one, glue them together so the backs both face out, then take one of the backs off
That way the pens don't stick out, it would balance better and kiki can be happy again!
Tykit Fleine
I hope she reads your comment.
clever!
Agreed!
I thought of that too, but I don't know how to remove the back. It's all glued together.
Bumble Baylee HIT IT WITH A HAMMER or something. I dunno. You should try if this one bothers you later, it's not a bad idea though
Rewatching your old vlogs during quarantine is so weird but nice
You got me at the beginning with that sketch book. I honestly was thinking you've lost your marbles.
i literally screamed -- WHAAAAAAAAT but then she got me
I was like "nooooo Baylee" and then i saw the crinkled pages and started giggling before she even said it was a joke.
Saying good bye.. why is it sad? Makes us remember the good times we’ve had. Copic R.I.P. 2018

Get the velcro command strips for picture frames to put on the bottom of your copic case to adhere to the desk.... still removable but it will stay in place.
Yes, I was going to make this suggestion! I use Velcro for cases like this, and it works really well!
So I did decide to modify this case a bit further...more details in the next vlog! ruclips.net/video/D7-y69D-8A8/видео.html
Bumble Baylee haha you had that old copic case for more than half my life 😅
I have a idea for the slats that are not being used you could put most yosd copic markers refills in thos slots or just put fineliners thar.
Bumble Baylee you could put tsumtsums in the empty bits...it would be so cute :D
Bumble Baylee what kind of copic did you use though
Copic marker
Copic sketch
Copic ciao
Can you tell me please??😍

So I get the Case at Michaels? I was looking on Amazon
I don't think its stupid for you to want things a certain way Baylee. Schedule how you wanna schedule! 😁
if you want the new copic case deeper just buy another one and take back off one and clue the two together and there you go
Easier said than done, lol.
thank you so much for not only finding that new storage frame but also filming and saying where you got it, ive been looking for one for 3 months not having time to make one i ran out and bought one today and it is amazing!!!
Wow. I haven't watched Baylee in so long. Now she's married and has pink hair.

Natasha Pearce I got some today because I can’t afford Copics. I got a skin tones pack and 4 individual markers. They blend surprisingly well.
Aeladya yes I was impressed with them and I am very inexperienced so far
Huh. I was using the same shelf for my copics for about a year before deciding that it was a very annoying shelf and upgrading to some deeper ones. Baylee getting excited over anything copic related XD So fun
WOW! That’s a lot o markers. Thank you for sharing.

I literally gasped so loud when she mentioned her 2018 workstation video. Yyeeeesssssssss.
Please do not get the artist Loft markers they're good at first but then the ink runs out really fast and the brush tip gets ruined
Lake Russell yeah, they are pretty disappointing! 🙁
the bottle crates you got at 14mins I own that shelf for my copic markers and they do stick out. a bit and if you knock in they do fall out. But I love the handles. It allowed me to grab and go when needed.
Your hair goes soo well with that sweater!
I watch your vids everyday love this one and love your hair too and cats and art and art supplies
9:57 Shawn Mendes something big IN THE BACKGROUND MUSIC!!!!!ahhh
I bought those Artist Loft markers, and the brush nib isn’t very flexible
CraftyGamerOnes I tried them too and was kinda disappointed :(
The nib isn't flexible, but it does help cover with wide areas
YamiGekusu true
trixirita same
these were the first markers i personally bought to try, they are decent...but i do see that if you layer too much, they bleed
You could add flat sticks on the bottom to keep the case from tipping - like popsicle sticks and the markers on the bottom would cover where they stick out.
Baylee! You can also try and put Velcro strips on the bottom so the case doesn’t move around and you can pull it off when you need to!
Omg I love the new case!!!
Love the new hair and copic case Baylee!
You should really invest in some supports for the back like those triangle brackets or a clever application of those bookends I think I've seen some people on Pinterest use them. the pink hair went super well with the galaxy sweat-shirt!

our kitties could be twins!!!! also you could take the back out of one of the marker holders glue 2 together an u have a perfect storage for your copics!!!
Omg your hair is so cute!!!
You could make tiny inserts for the case and put erasers. Possibly put some decorations like a zumzum or something?
You could Velcro or command strip the case to your desk? I don’t know if you would be willing to do that but it would definitely help prevent tipping.
You could put some of those velcro camand strips on the bottom and it will stick to the desk and no tiping over
I AM SOOO JELOUS OF YOUR COPICS!
Yay it’s finally happened I’ve been waiting for her to switch from the makeshift DIY case
I own four of the tall skinny copic storage, there are great. I bought them off Etsy, store name organizemore. I think currently the Etsy shop down and it looks like you can still order them from their website.
Baylee your hair is bomb
I have been wanting her to remake the copic case for SO LONG
Kind of confused as to why you didn't make a new one. You have the table saw, the wood, the basic pattern. Then it could be as deep as you wanted.
I'm not comfortable using a table saw for such tiny pieces of wood. Plus, it would be a pretty big project to undertake, as opposed to just going to Michael's and spending $17.
Fair enough. Thanks for answering.
It was just so calming and pleasing to see you walk around Michael's and then reorganize your copics haha. Now I need to go walk around Michael's
Hey Baylee! How about attaching a kickstand like the ones on the backs of photo frames to stop the new case from tipping over? All you'd need would be a photo frame and some screws/glue :)
Best part of the school day. XD Thank God I have lunch this time!
Prior Cervantes your still in school at 6 pm gosh oh your from America arnt you
I just got home from school and I started watching this
rip copic container it has been great
I have that recollections organizer but use it for my prismacolor color pencils but I'm soooo wishing I was as brilliant as you and got one of those little wood crates!! So smart and I'm so going to copy girl THANK YOU
you could put your most used refills in a space or the fineliners you use the most in one.
0:37 "I might not.."

For the stand you could use suction cups :) no extra material and will firmly secure to your desk!
I have to say I am going to try your way I hope that is fine !!
Your hair washing debate is so me 😂
Dear baylee,
A word of advice, you shouldn’t get artists loft dual tip markers because they aren’t easy to blend. They also break easily and aren’t as good of range as copics. Copics as you may know are blendable while even using an artists loft blender isn’t easy to blend different colors and other colors darker or lighter.
From,
A concerned fan
If your new shelf fits that many and you have a lot of extra room I should buy one for my copics!
Other people have said this but get another one of those shelf’s and add to the back! :) You can take the back piece off one and glue them together for a really nice case that’s not so easy to tip!
I am considering this too, but I'm not sure if I can remove the back piece without breaking it.
I have that first unit you were looking at on the Michaels website, it use it for my makeup. And I use the marker storage for my copics, I only have like 50 markers and it’s mostly full, the top would not have fit in the middle section.
I love the color of your hair.
It is recollections Bailey. I can check if the removable deviders fit in the bottom one. I have that desktop shelf you were looking at.
I can send tweet you a pic. Gimme a sec XD
The website says Ashland, but I'm sure they're the same!
EARLY!! yaaay also cool new case, love your hair!
OMG NEVER SEEN THAT MANY REFILLS
this is such an emotional vlog for the old copic case :(
It makes perfect sense, Baylee!
You could buy those sticky tabs with Velcro that you use to hang pictures on the wall and affix it to the bottom of the copic case, it would not be sturdy enough for the cat to jump up (I think) but then If you knock it with your elbow or knock the table it wouldn’t move
I wonder if you could buy a second one of those trays and take the back off of one and stick them together if you want it deeper?
the thing that stood out to me was the song something big by shawn mendes playing at the store
Those Artist’s Loft alcohol markers are amazing! They work just as well as Copics
I'm late seeing this vlog, but my first video of yours was about the making of the original copic case!!! AWWW!!!
Baylee:This is taking forever
Her show in the background:You just need patience 😂
I have those recollections shelves with the marker dividers and they don't really work well for a large collection. I tried to put the marker insert in the middle shelf and NOPE, does not fit.
I keep my pens in it but not my markers. each slot only fits like four copics.
I've been meaning to get myself a simular case for my copics! This video is a good reminder haha I love trying to keep my art room organized 🙂
I think it looks nicer with the panels half full :) looks more organic
I have that marker case from Michaels you were looking at. I only bought it cause it was half off and I found it by the frames instead of with all the other organization stuff. I almost gave up on finding it in store but something was telling me to go by the frames. Depending on what you stuff in the storage it fits a good amount of stuff and I think you can get additional dividers for it but I believe it is only online that you can buy it?????
Hey Baylee~ Idea For the back of the new copic case you could use a picture frame backing, and just add that little bit of support that way.
Artist loft markers are really good but the brush nib does fray when it is used constantly and it does not hold much ink, other than that 5 stars!
( Basicly for people who are just getting started)
(I do suggest you try the hobby lobby brand too just because they are way better than Artist loft)
Nae Rob We have a store going out of business here and they are having a huge sale tomorrow, I’m gonna see if I can get maybe some cheap alcohol brush markers if they have some, and maybe some clay, it’s mostly a quilting store, but they do have some art supplies.
Aeladya Where is the store?
I am new to this channel and love your videos so far. I came to be inspired during my artist's block and you are quite the inspiration! I love this storage idea. I'm always looking for tidier ways to store my art supplies because my space is super small.
Also, I noticed you mention Bellingham! I live very close!
thanks so much for this video!! i’ve been looking for a new copic case and they have the exact one you got at my michaels!!!
I really want to see how the markers you found work QAQ I have some copics, but it would be nice if I could save a bit.
You probably forgot about the Art's Loft Sketch Markers for a future video
Pure . BEAUT.
Your hair is so pretty
I recently made a copic case from foam board. Copic cases are the the best!
