    Ingredients
    (6 inches round pan)
    (A)
    30g of Soya Milk :
    1. 25g water
    2. 5g instant soya milk powder
    (B)
    1. 2 egg yolks
    2. 5g sugar
    3. 20g corn oil
    4. 30g soya milk (refer (A))
    5. 40g cake flour
    6. 1/4 baking powder
    7. A pinch of salt
    (C)
    1. 2 egg whites
    2. 35g sugar
    Preheat oven at 150°C
    Reduced temperature to 130°C and bake for 23 minutes.
    Baking time may vary depending on the type and accuracy of the oven.

    Can we use normal milk instead of soya milk??

      If you replace soya milk with normal milk, then this cake don't have soya fragrant anymore.
      When you use normal milk the cake will becomes a normal plain cake with egg fragrant if you don't add in vanilla.

    Thank you for the sharing. I had tried your matcha zebra cake and was successful, i loving it very much. Thinking of trying this soya cake but may i use the "fresh" soy milk without sugar instead of the powder (ingredients A)? how much in g should i use? Thank you.

      Hi Adelaide, glad to hear that you have successful in baking the matcha zebra cake. For soy cake you may use fresh soy milk as well same grams as mention in video. Remember baking time & temperature of oven may vary depending on the type & accuracy of your oven, you may need to adjust accordingly. Golden brown on surface top and no crack & cake is fully cooked, mean you found your perfect time & temperature for your baking. Have a good try!! Happy baking!!

      Kimiya Lim Wow! Really appreciated for the reply 👍. I will get back if I have done it again. Although my matcha cake was raised successfully and can see the zebra stripe nicely but it was only half height of the 6inch pan and then I increased the ingredients proportionally to 5 eggs and baked in 8inch pan it was still raised and taste the same but the side of the cake was awful not straight as previous one, I don't know whether was it because of my baking paper was not place properly along the pan ? 😐

      Hi Kimiya may I use the matcha method to whisk the egg yolk instead of electrical mixer since we need to keep it dry for beating the egg white ? Thank you

      Hi Adelaide, yes you may use the matcha method to whisk the egg yolk mixture.

      Hi Adelaide, from what you have mention to me, need to check with you, did your cake top surface golden brown n no crack? If so, may be i suggested you raise your oven temperature to 135°C, "or" you may lengthen 5~8mins your baking time, to make the cake a bit more dry, because if cake too moist, they can't stand straight after comes out from oven, too moist too heavy of cake texture. And the 8 in 5 eggs cake, how long did you bake it? My suggested time are 45~55mins.

      Hi 碧詩, of cause you can replace to pandan flavour but it will become pandan cake, no more soy milk cake, ya...! :)
