Ingredients
(6 inches tube pan)
(A)
1. 3 egg yolks
2. 30g (3 tbsps) corn oil
3. 30g (30ml) orange juice
4. 15g (15ml) milk
*(if prefer to have more orange flavour,
milk can be replaced by orange juice)
5. 60g (1/2 cup) cake flour
6. 1/4 tsp baking powder
7. A pinch of salt
(B)
1. 5g (1 tbsp) orange zest
(C)
1. 3 egg whites
2. 52g (1/4 cup full) sugar
Preheat oven at 125°C.
Bake at temperature 125°C for 30 minutes.
Baking time may vary depending on the type and accuracy of oven.

I have already baked for 40 mins under 125 degree, the cake is not cook, I bake for another 10 mins and the cake collapses immediately. What kind of oven do you use? Somethings wrong about the temperature and time because I normally bake under 150160 degree for 40 mins.

Hi Nishana, thank you very much for your support, you may use others flavourless vegetable oil instead of corn oil, but olive oil & peanut oil has distinct smell which may not be suitable for baking. Microwave oven that have the "Convection" mode can do baking. If your device does not have this mode, baking in microwave is not possible. Does your microwave oven has this "convection" mode?

I have tried out this cake in my convection oven... I set the temperature as the same as I do for my usual baking... It comes out really good... Yummy and too soft like urs recepie.... We loved the cake very much so that I have made it for 3 or4 times till now.... Even today we were celebrating EID here...so I made it again....

Hi Kimiya, can a standard rectangular or round cake tin be used instead of the type u used? Thank u.
Hi, when use tube pan, the cake can rise taller, the structure of the cake is more spongy, and the center of the cake can be cooked more easier.
And of cause you may use a standard rectangular or round cake tin to bake as well, for my experience, the cake comes out same in good quality and taste, but bear in mind they won't be as tall as baking in tube pan, and most important you have to control well in the time and temperature of your oven, means when baked, the top surface of cake is golden brown and no cracks and the cake is cooked (cake tester comes out clean), my oven I normally will bake at temperature 125°C for 33 minutes in size of 6 inches round pan for 3 eggs recipe.

I tried this in a normal springform tin. It looked great when it came out of the oven and rapidly deflated. I'd suggest you only use a chiffon tin for this one. Still tastes great though

Hi Good, I didn't use cream of tartar, whisk patiently and the meringue comes out nicely, so no need the help of cream of tartar.
I want to do this recipe but I don’t have a microwave oven. Can I use a regular oven and if so what’s the temperature for it in degrees Fahrenheit
Hi Christina, you can use the regular oven that can bake cake & bread. temperature & baking time may vary depending on the type & accuracy of your oven, adjust accordingly. suggest temperature & baking time for you is 266°F ~ 302°F for 30~40 minutes, check with skewer see if cake is cooked.

Hi Maria, if you don't have cake flour you may just use all purpose flour. Or you may make a substitute, all you need are two ingredients - all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Take one level cup of all purpose flour, remove two tablespoons, and then add two tablespoons of cornstarch back in.

Hi Kimi, bake this cake around 250~300 Fehrenheit, since every oven is vary in baking time n temperature, please adjust accordingly.

The cake exploded and its volume became ×3 times than the original cake size
It was much more fluffier but i lost my microwave

Hi Ami, set A no sugar, cause I am only mention total sugar for this cake is 52g, and in the beginning of video I am using 1 tsbp from 52g sugar, but thanks for your voice out, and sorry for making you confuse, will take note next time in my video and write more carefully.
