I made this today. I added chopped apple, cinnamon, nutmeg and sunflower seeds. I used self raising flour - scrumptious! I have had two slices already. 😋
I was craving cake tonight with nothing in the house. So I looked up Fast Cake Recipe and found this. It is fast! And easy with ingredients you most likely have on hand. It’s came out great - very tender and moist. I made a quick lemon glaze to top it: 1 cup confectioners sugar, 2 heaping tsp lemon zest, 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice. My husband had 3 pieces! This is a keeper!

Watched this video on Aug. 18, 2024, and made it for my birthday on the 19th. As soon as it cooled off, my kids and I tore into it. 😂🤣😂🤣 We couldn’t wait until the next day. It was sooo good and soft. But I actually turned it into Tres Leche cake by adding condensed milk, 2% milk and evaporated milk and poured those on top. It soaked down into the cake and made it super moist and Delicious!!!

I went a head and thought I could bake a cake and honey I did! following your recipe . I did not have white sugar I had brown and it still came out lovely. I am embarrassed to say my 4 year old and I polished off the entire thing in a day. So I might bake another today. I also used coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. Thank you so much because all my previous attempts at a decent cake have failed until today. From Jamaica with love❤❤

It has cooled down and is absolutely PERFECT! It's super soft and delicious now i didn't know wether i should trust this vid, but I'm glad that i did 🎉
The caption is very misleading. 2 minutes to prepare the ingredients, or 2 minutes to make the cake batter or 2 minutes to bake? The video takes 3.36 minutes to play and cake bakes in 30 minutes and ofcourse prep time is definitely not 2 minutes. Instead come up with a better realistic caption

15 and doing this quick recipe for a friend's bday tomorrow. I tried to put an extra ingredient to it for the flavour (banana smoothie) and i think i put a little bit too much and now its more liquidy,.,. (Currently baking it and hope it turns out alright)
Update: the outside is crusty and the inside is gooey and chewy but I'm convinced its already fully cooked :)) this recipe is amazing btw tysm for making this video

First of all, i would say thank you for dropping the recipe for this cake. Secondly i doubted my ability to make this cake because it look so soft and squishy/fluffy but as i followed the way you did it, it seems easy and the result is great, loved it even my family loved it, thank you. Today is also my birthday and i made this cake for my birthday and i'm glad the cake came out well honestly. I even posted a video of me making it on Tiktok, thanks once again.

Any Use any type of vanilla you have available. Whether powder or liquid. You can also omit it and replace it with lemon zest

Jus made this. Tips to whoever make it. Dont use salt. Also add a little flavoring like lemon or vanilla wen your'e not using butter. So it will have flavor to it. 2 eggs is fine. Tweak it to your liking.
