Dude don’t fan the flames with that stupid Corey Perry rumor nonsense.
Thank you.
Thank you. X2
also his career isnt killed, he was traded to the oilers and they are HOT rn
@@tacsium Traded after his contract got terminated?
You live in a strange world.
Corey Perry isn’t to blame for internet rumors… I don’t like guy but this is silly.
He's not *BUT IS* to blame for what he actually ended up doing
@@AscendedXSaiyanWhat did he actually do?
At least he accepted responsibility for his actions. I was surprised to find out the n.h.l. has no personal conduct policy whatsoever. Like how Pat kane was involved in the violent criminal attack of a cab driver over about .50 cents. Then there is the star struck teenage girl who he hooked up with. She got sexually assaulted, she had two bites from Kane. How is he still playing? How does the n.h.l. spell personal conduct policy? N.D.A. (non disclosure agreement).
@@h.b16Chicago never said why
@@mikelight495I’ve been asking that question for years.
How is that rapist still playing hockey in the NHL??
Unbelievably sickening
If you played in the NHL for 18 years........yeah that's a full career. Nothing dead about it, pure BS.
I was thinking the exact same thing
The Corey Perry take aged like milk in the sun. 😂
Just like in your sippy cup. The only cup you will ever know.

Todd Bertuzzi went on to play 9 seasons in the NHL after the Steve Moore incident. In fact, he had 71 points in the season directly after the incident (which was the 3rd best season of his career). Now the season after that he missed almost the entire season due to an injury and after that his point totals dropped. The narrative you're trying to create for this video isn't correct, injury and age (he was in his 30s) are why his numbers dropped off.
Sorry but that didn not "kill" his career, it certainly hurt his reputation but the hyperbole is too much.
He was never the same post hit, and missed a lot of time because of it.
not to mention if you WATCH the tape - Moore's neck doesn't snap UNTIL his teammate jumps onto Bertuzzi's back.
@@incumbentvinyl9291 he was great in Detroit. Moore was agoon.
@@csnide6702 The tape?
Haha!
@@incumbentvinyl9291 yes , millennial - in those days they had video TAPE
Dead wrong about Corey Perry being hated. He's not responsible for Internet rumors.
He is arguably a Hall of Famer
Bring back Primetime Perry!!!!
Um I hate him
I hated him as a player and I’m not surprised at all to hear that he’s an asshole in real life.
More like hall of very good
Hall of Scummy Fame
Todd Bertuzzi wasn't booed the rest of career. He was treated great by fans in Detroit. He was cheered in Vacouver every time he played there. Get your facts straight!
- Mike Danton (hired a hitman to kill either his agent or his father, spent 5 years in federal prison, deported to Canada, no team was willing to pay his legal fees required to return to the USA (ie. entry waiver). Nonetheless continued playing in Quebec and Sweden)
- Slava Voynov (domestic assault against his wife, voluntarily returned home to Russia and won a Gagarin Cup, gave up on a second NHL chance following a lengthy season-long 2019-20 suspension)
- Brendan Leipsic (made misogynistic comments on Instagram, left for Russia and is now a Russian citizen producing solid numbers in the KHL)
- Marty McSorley (clubbed Donald Brashear, convicted of assault)
- Jake Virtanen (2017 sexual assault allegations surfaced in 2021, eventually leading to a charge that he was eventually acquitted of. Faltered on a second chance in Edmonton)
- Mitch Miller (a case of ending a career before it even started, but bullying a Black youth since school. Now in Slovakia)
- Alex Galchenyuk (arrested and charged for an alcohol-enraged incident this past July. Jumped ship to Russia)
- Milan Lucic (domestic assault charge driven by alcohol. Likely that his career is over given his lack of production)
Speaking of Danton, his statement of going to prison over failing in the NHL is like making a choice between death and expulsion… Needed to get his priorities in order
Mike Danton : crazy story
These Rssians are 🤢🤮, and they are still loved in their home country as heroes
There's also the long list of players that ruined their career and reputations due to drugs/alcohol/bar fights: Mike Ribeiro, the Kostitsyn brothers, Kevin Stevens, Theo Fleury, etc.
Marty McSorley should have gone to jail as that’s blatant assault with a weapon
If Avery tried that on Billy Smith he'd have no ankles left
Who’s watching when Corey Perry made it to the finals with oilers
These guys are the result of being pulled away from their families at 15,16 years old, never being socialized and then thrown buckets of money at them.
Cory Perry DID NOT sleep with Connor's Mom. How awful of you to perpetuate that rumor. It hurt Connor, and his Mom, so much that people started that horrible rumor.
He did though. So did the coach and trainer
If Connor Bedard gets hurt over losers making rumors on the internet, he’s not gonna make it in the NHL. I’m sure he’s fine.
i heard chris pronger slept w/ a local news/sports?? reporter causing his wife to demand they get they re asses out of there
Honorable mention : Slava Voynov killed his NHL Career by brutally assaulting his wife after winning his second cup in Los Angeles to get deported back to Russia by ICE then Winning Gagarin Cup in 2017 with SKA ST Petersburg(KHL)
Mike Danton is one of the strangest scandals in hockey. I knew some people who went to school with the girl he asked to find him a hit man. One was friends with her younger brother and had been to their house I think. I remember seeing a party near my work thrown to celebrate when she was officially cleared of any wrongdoing.
Would that have been worse than a Dr. With multiple drunk driving convictions hitting a teenage girl who would ride her skateboard 7 miles a day to her job? After sending her 150' thru the air he kept driving. She was still alive... being a doctor he could have helped her. No murder. No manslaughter. Just a misdemeanor conviction. My point? His wife & friends held a alchohol fueled celebration party for him all the same. Who is it? You know who you are dr. Joe... r.i.p. alix rice. I have one question? Where was m.a.d.d. during this?
I went to college with her. The FBI agent that arrested him at the airport was my little brother's hockey coach lol (valley northstars)
Whoa, the Perry segment sure didn't age well.
Also, why are we assuming that sleeping with a teammate's mother is a hideous act? Look at how many NHL players married teammates' sisters. Perry and Bedard's mother are pretty close in age. I say this without any knowledge of the existence, or relationship with Bedard's father.
i heard ?? jeff brown??? slept w / canucks goalie (kirk mclean)??teammates wife but i cant verify althhoug brown was traded next year or earlier
@@terryhindley3292 Grow up and get an education.
Why would you not post the videos of the incidents actually happening? So stupid and illogical.
Perry didn’t ruin his Career he had a successful Career!
Your " views " on some of these player is down right laughable .
I'm surprised you didn't mention the hamburger incident with Link Gaetz. While playing for the Thetford Mines Prolab (LNAH) 2005, he sat on the bench for the first and second periods. During the intermission before the third period he changed out of his skates and uniform and bought a hamburger from the concession stand and ate it. The team considered this disrespectful and Gaetz was suspended for the rest of the season and was called one of the quirkiest athletes because of this.
This is easily on of the worst researched hockey chennels on RUclips. Do better.
right? where the fuck is matt petgrave ??? he just ended a dudes life bringing his skate up 6 FEET into the air and claiming it was an accident. ALL NHL players who commented on it said its intentional. only the NHL commentators keep the facade of claiming its an accident because they are scared of getting called racist for holding a dark person accountable for their actions.
Idc what people say about Avery, the "Avery Rule" was hilarious
Where's Lucic?
Bertuzzi got robbed. What hurt Moore was he 3 Avs that thought it was smart to dog-pile on them. 4 big players in full equipment that’s 800lbs. So why weren’t those Avs disciplined, they just don’t think.
Link Gaetz was a fan favorite when he played for the Sharks. Thought he would go on to have a good career with the Sharks as an enforcer, but after that accident, he wasn't the same.
lot of "new fan" takes in this video lmao
Either your using click bait or truly need a dictionary.
Heatley killed his career? I mean you covered how much he accomplished for the 10 years afterward. At best we can say the bum knee from the crash cause him to age out faster but he got 13 more seasons after that accident
You lost me with Heatly.
Yes he committed vehicular manslaughter but this did not ruin his career and all things considered, his career was more of a comeback than a bust.
He does not belong on this list but that's MHO.
I remember watching Danton win the university cup with the huskies, his story is bizarre
Perry's career was very successful and wrapping up anyhow. It wasn't "killed". And, and if the rumor's are true (I know we are supposed to pretend we know they are not) then he is Hall of Fame for sure....
Poor Corey Perry, broke Ty Conklins record of losing 3 cups in 4 years with 3 different teams
Perry will be playing before the season ends. Any other team would have let him play. But since the hawks have some bad history they had to do something.
McSorley gave the Habs a cup in 1993.
This whole list is awful.
-Corey Perry didnt even get taken out, he signed with the Oilers and made the cup final. Also the Connors Mom thing was naught but a trashy internet rumor not worth perpetuating.
-Todd Bertuzzi had a long career for years after the Moore incident.
-McSorley was already 37 in the last year of his contract. There was a good chance he was out the door already.
-Dany Heatley played till 35, years after the incidents that caused issues for him. His career production just fell off as he entered his thirties and he wasnt the same after leaving San Jose. Common occurence.
-Sieloff got a contract *after* the incident, doesnt really seem like it killed anything he just didnt get to where he needed to be to stay in the league production wise, stuff happens.
-Gaetz's car crash was the responsibility of a friend and he nearly died, its safe to say that did more damage to his career than anything even if his later years were tumultuous too.
Bert didn’t slam Moore’s head into the ice. Moore was injured when Andrew Nikolishin landed on his neck while going after Bert. You can see in the video that Bert’s hands were either side of Moore’s head
Perry signed with Edmonton less than 2 months after killing his career in Chicago. Short lived death.
Wow thought there were facts on this channel
It's been confirmed by all parties involved that sex wasn't why Perry was let go. Pretty lazy on your part or make it the first part of your video. Gross.
So wrong about Corey Perry lol. Definitely jumped the gun adding him to this list. He never slept with Bedards mom, and he isn't even done playing yet. I also think that whatever he did at that team party was probably overblown. Chicago just can't afford negative headlines in any form because of the whole Kyle beach situation.
Galchenyuk's fall still shocks me
How can you talk about Link Gaetz without mentioning his nickname in San Jose - "The Missing Link"? lol... I remember the game where he hip checked Gretzky, and Wayne did a flip in the air and landed on his back. Totally legal hit, but he got a 5 minute major. That was an important life lesson for me.
Todd Bertuzzi is the man
Shane Pinto is a potential candidate too
Actually went to SMU with Danton when he was attending studying criminology myself there-played beer league with him there as well LOL
I don't blame Todd Bertuzzi for clocking Steve Moore. This is what should happen when jobbers go after star players. The problem is that there's too much media nowadays, too much of an outrage cycle.
Todd Bertuzzi's mother lived on our street in Sudbury, Ontario. I would always go with my 12 year old son at the time it was collections for his paper route, she was so nasty and hated everyone.
Heater's story is tradgic for the people in his life and of course the Snyder family! R.I.P. Dan! You were called up far too early!
Show the damn clips of what happened...man the still shots suck
Perry in another cup final
Really good video! I'm stuck every time. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Sweden
1:33 those team colors make it look like Perry's in 1930's Germany, lol
dang! it was quite a far cry from the 'Gallys' to the depths of nastiness when Alex was with the 'yotes.
I never was a fan of katty perry
5:15
I like how you say Bertuzzi received assault charges and then tell us he received a match penalty! Lol
After he was arrested, I doubt the match penalty was the thing that sent him to bed, without milk & cookies!! ;)
It’s amazing 1/4 of them aren’t in jail
Perry was just signed as an oiler this morning.
so....... Why no photo of Bedard's Mom......?
Now, Avery is a goof. He does have some talent as an actor. This guy will most likely never change!
Moore could have done a lot to prevent what happened. Anyone with a hint of self awareness in that situation should know that fighting one of the smallest guys on their team and then acting like you don't need to answer the bell again, after deliberately injuring an order of magnitude superior player and captain of the other team, is a pretty quick way to make someone take matters into their own hands. If he didn't play like a rat and then try to hide in a hole instead of standing there like a man and taking the punishment that he unequivocally deserved, then he wouldn't have had to pretend like he couldn't play hockey anymore and sue Bertuzzi for damages that far outweighed any career earnings he could've possibly dreamed of making with his skill level. Bertuzzi and Naslund were never the same players after this incident and that will go down as Moore's singular accomplishment as a hockey player, nothing but a detriment to the careers of far superior players who were misfortunate enough to share the ice with a rat like him.
9:15 talk about crashout 💀
and i thought 2-tiered justice systems were only for politicians
if a regular citizen did what mcsorely or bertuzzi did, we'd be in prison for 10+ years
What happened to Moore was an accident, in my opinion. Yes, it was a cheap shot, but had he not fallen forward, Bertuzzi wouldn't have landed the way he did on him.
12:01 is Jeremy Roenick, not Heatley
I think they just let the video roll a split second too long and it was a continuation from the highlight
Good video bro..👌
Bertuzzi should’ve been banned for life. Chickenshit move
Dan Snyder was a distant relative of my dad
Perry just went to the finals for the fourth straight year with Edmonton?
Bertuzzi’s reputation got hurt, but didn’t end his career… it ended Moore’s
Can you make a vid about the firebirds please and thank you😊😊
If you purposely go after a player and the player gets hurt and misses games then you should have to be suspended untill the player comes back. You hurt a player and knock him out for a year? Then you should be suspended untill that player comes back with no pay
7:24 - This is very misleading. McSorley wanted to fight Brashear, who had beat him in a fight earlier in the same game. McSorley maintains that Brashear broke 'the code' by refuing to drop the gloves. Brashear has a differing opinion.
brashear was more surprised than hurt and flopped on the ice, McSorley barely touched him
Mic sorry wasn't tuff he was a sucker shot fighter

What has he won, nothing, when you are so rich money don't matter,no Super Bowl ever
THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD SERIOUSLY LOOK INTO ALEXES RUSSIA TIES AFTER SAYING THAT SHIT
I skipped past Sean Avery. Since he never actually played actual hockey he is irrelevant to any hockey discussion.
Sean Avery said in his book that he was basically playing a character his whole career and he was just being an exaggerated version of who he really was. Also, he made the sloppy seconds comment in an effort to get out of Dallas (which worked). He said he immediately realized how disrespectful that was to his ex, who he was still on good terms with, and felt terrible about it.
Good joke.
@@incumbentvinyl9291I quite literally cited my source if you don’t believe me bro
@@incumbentvinyl9291yeah, expecting a good sense of humor out of Avery is going to be a long wait, and does anybody know who those two blondes are??? Alica Cuthbert was who he was talking about in the sloppy seconds remark, those pics wern't her
What with this title? All these players had great long careers
I had no idea that Marty McSorley had changed his last name to Murray.
Beyond the irresponsibility of spreading unsubstantiated rumours... What is this sanctimonious bullshit? If - IF - he slept with her, who gives a shit? Arent they both consenting adults? Does it matter one iota that its a team-mates mother? Why do people question him about it but not her? Congratulations on finally scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel. The Blackhawks terminating comtract for misconduct is hilarious. The Blackhawks?? Ummm scandal anybody?
Now Perry is with the Oilers and no one's talking about the Blackhawks situation
Bertuzzi calling Moore a piece of shit is a little ironic
Bertuzzi didn't kill his career. that's kind of a joke. He didn't even miss a season technically, because the next season was the lockout year anyways. Dude who did this video wasn't very sharp. Listed Marty as Marty Murray. And the Heatley thing, dude I didnt even know that, and Im an Ottawa fan... so clearly this is just some bullshit for content that 'Top 6 Hockey' came up with. Noone hated him cause of this for his entire career, that's silly.
Was expecting to see Bob Probert on this list.
Daniel Ryder that’s a guy who ruined his NHL career he did an armed robbery pretty sure because of CTE
i'm surprised Bob Probert is not talked about in this subject.
Bertuzzi was just taking out the trash
Good channel…liked your video….new subscriber…was a leaf fan since I was a kid…then moved to Seattle about 30 years ago to do a post doc at UW. Now have been a huge kraken fan since they came into the league
Part of me wonders if Heatley ever thinks about that crash and wishes it was him and not Snyder to pass away. Survivor's guilt is a pretty hardcore thing.
Also, after his 2nd 50 goal season, I did a statistical analysis and at his pace he would've finished his career with over 700 goals if he played into his early 40s.
What a shame.
a.?/MCD
4:45 - How was that supposedly done deliberately?
So tell me how in the fuck did these players wreck their careers by playing 16 to 20 years in a league where 10 years is considered a career. This guy has no clue. DO NOT RECOMMEND CHANEL
A comment of a technical nature: that font is hard to read in the video.
A simpler font would work much better
Naaa Corey Perry is a good hockey player. Another team will pick him up! Oh, wait a minute, the Oilers did pick him up! I say... Excellent pick-up, Edmonton!
Could Bertuzzi have been a bit more, cautious, exerting his punch ? Perhaps. But since when do lions ask themselves questions about their prey"s feelings ? Moore had it coming.
Surprised Jake Virtanen isn’t on here
Meanwhile, Patrick Kane with his off ice scandals & Brad ratboy Marchand with his on ice antics- still able to play:😁😇
To think they still consider Kane a hall of famer Is disgusting. In the in the n.f.l. punter Matt araiza was mentioned in a gang rape. Even though he was exonerated no team has shown interest in him. The n.f.l. has a huge number of female fans. The n.h.l. has no personal conduct policy. A goon can outright deliberately assault another player with no fear of retribution. Keep your head up pat before someone serves it up to you on a silver platter to go with the silver spoon you were born with in your mouth.
Milan lucic❤
I lost all respect for Kane when that happened. And i'm not thrilled my home team gave the C to Marchand. Shoulda given it to McCavoy
@@spiderhands beat the cab driver over something like .50 cents. That is nothing. How about the star struck teenager he raped? Those bite marks? It is too bad the n.h.l. has no personal conduct policy. Notice how the Blackhawks began its slide into despair about the same time this occurred. Kane is cursed. This will follow him wherever he goes.
