    We had the same thing happen with some pink gloves. It actually melted onto and inside of several mugs before I realized what had happened. Our new gloves are plain white.

    I think if you wanted to remove that. Try some now nail polish remover or some acetone. Which is the same thing just stronger.

      Thank you so much for the tip! I tried it and at first it got frosty so I had to use very little and then it worked! 🙌

      If it gets frosty next time they also have a polish for The type of plastic. You both seemed little disappointed on the outcome. I'm glad the Asotone was able to help. Keep the content come in loving it.

    After sublimate clear acrylic, even cleaning with water and soap the acrylic isn't clear as before. Some part is frosty and hazed, is it normal??

      We are sorry for the late response, we took a break but now we are back. i don't really have an answer to your question because we didn't need to clean it after water but if you did that cause your couldn't peel it i recommend you trying to reheat it for a few seconds and hot peel it again. Hope this helps!

    What paper and ink you used?

    • @themakershq
      @themakershq  7 месяцев назад

      Sorry for the late reply! Regular sublimation paper and ink works perfectly! We get all our sublimation paper printed by our neighborhood company but if you don't have a printer, we know people who have used custom sublimation printing companies on etsy and the work turned out great! Hope that helps!

    Very interesting. Is the machine press you use expensive?

    • @themakershq
      @themakershq  Год назад

      Hi, thank you! Our machine is a cheap one, standard size (15x15in), it's an entry model like the Tussy brand that you can find on Amazon for example

    What pressure do you use for this?

    • @themakershq
      @themakershq  Год назад +1

      We are sorry for the late response, we took a break but now we are back. from what i remember the pressure was high. not to the point where you struggle to close the machine but using a little more strength than usual.

    Where did you purchase the acrylic panels? Those are freaking awesome 🤩

    • @themakershq
      @themakershq  2 года назад +1

      Hi! Thank you! We purchased the panel from our local art store where we are currently based (in Buenos Aires) but you can purchase panels from Amazon www.amazon.com/Cast-Acrylic-Sheet-Installations-Lightweight/dp/B01HAAJP80
      When we were in the Northern Hemisphere 😄 we also used to find panels at Blick or Home Depot. Just make sure they're at least 3mm (.12 in) thick minimum. Hope that helps!
