Hey everyone! Welcome to my channel! My channel is all about crafting on a budget. I do Cricut and sublimation videos. Thank you for joining my RUclips family. - Хобби
I love your idea. I have those blanks and I wondered if I could sublimate onto then. I'm definitely going to try it. Thanks!
Yes, definitely try. I would have never guessed that they would be sublimatable.
Thank you!! I love this. What a great way to use up my scrap infusible ink sheets, as well as my smaller pieces of sublimation paper and scrap vinyl. This is definitely going into my crafting lineup from now on. Love it!
Oh yes! Definitely great for those scrap pieces.

I love this
Thanks for sharing. I have so many acrylic blanks.
I honestly never though you can sub on acrylic. It is such a game changer to know that you can.
2 years later lol, I just learned how to do this and I love it. I have also learned that if you apply pressure to the blanks right after they heat press then they will not bend. I use a book as soon as I lift my press I lay the book on them and let them cool.
Oh that’s a great tip. I will try applying pressure after I press them so that they don’t curl.
Do these using white orcal 651 vinyl. Put vinyl on back then sub on the vinyl and the image comes through the vinyl vibrant and great and no fog
Cute! I had no idea I could sub directly on acrylic rounds. I have a ton I purchased to make glitter keychains with vinyl. I also have the ones with sublimation coating on the back. Those come out nice but, need a seal of some sort to keep the image intact. I am so going to pull them out today and make a few. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome! Definitely try it out.
Omg thank you so much for this I have so many of these and have tried so many things I am going to try this
Let me know how it turns out for you.
Thank you for this video
I am glad that you enjoyed it.
I had tried it before and it was a bust. However now I know to have a bowl with water. Thanks for the tips.
Oh WOW!!!! So Awesome!!!!! I thought you could only Sub on Polyester!!!
I thought so too. I was shocked to find out that you can sub on acrylic.
thank you your video ... but i dont have bigger press heat..can i use the mini press heat..
Thanks! Any tips on what to adjust so that my acrylic blanks don't deform from the heat and pressure? They came out slightly dented.
Mine curled up a lot my first shot, should I apply less pressure?
Hi ..how long and what temperature did you use
Nice job. Are those completely frosted on both sides? And NOT CLEAR? Glad you showed these so I know image comes out great even on top of the frost.😁
They were clear to start with but kind of frosted after subbing on them.
Those turned out awesome!! Will they scratch easy?
I don’t think so. I tried to scratch them to see if the image would come off and it didn’t.
@@LeslieIrene ohhhhh that makes me want to try it out even more!!! 🥰 thanks for these types of videos!!
I love mine thank you so much my princess
How many minutes on the Easy press? What temp?
Can you use photo paper to do this
How did you print the pictures? What kind of printing paper do you need and what kind of printer?
I print them on sublimation paper using a sublimation printer. I have a sawgrass SG-500 as a printer. You can convert certain Epson printers into sublimation printers.
i would like to know how you got the pictures to be round.... love your videos!!
I created circles in Affinity Designer. I then dragging the layer that my photo was on below and to the right of the circle layer which makes the circle layer into a clipping mask. So my photo becomes almost one with the circle. Let me know if that makes sense.
@@LeslieIrene Thank you new to affinity but i will try... gracias amiga
hi, what kind of ink you used? pigment ink or sublimation ink, to heat press in acrylic sheet
I think to do sublimation, preferable to use sublimation ink.
New to sublimation…. Would the process be similar for clear acrylic ornaments?
Yes the process should be the same.
How can I get the picture measured like that size in round?
I can definitely do a video on this since a few people have asked. I created a circle and then made it into a clipping mask over my photo which made my photo into a circle shape.
Do you need sublimation coating for those acrylics?
No you don’t. They subbed without a coating.
@@LeslieIrene thanks!!
Can I use sub paper pictures on glass please ?
I have not tried directly on glass. I have use a laminate pouch on glass and subbed on that.
In your list of item links, you Have lamination sheets. What part does that play?
You can use lamination sheets to make certain things sublimatable. I didn’t use it for this video though.
@@LeslieIrene I didn’t think you did. Just wanted to make sure. Thermal Lamination sheets are the bomb diggity.
They really are the bomb. It’s crazy how many things you can sub on using them.
@@LeslieIrene Second best product I have found is clear HTV Sublimation. The one that I use is so thin and you can barely feel it on the shirt. Works on those light color cotton tshirt like nobody’s business.
@@krystalminton9899 I'm not familiar with clear htv sublimation. Do you mean like printable vinyl? Could you provide a link or any other info that I could use to find it. I did search Amazon but wasn't sure if it was the right thing or not. Thanks for any help.
What would make a good sealant?
I would say epoxy would make a good sealant for the back of it.
The sublimation keychain aren't good, they break easily. These are better
These are pretty cool. I actually haven’t had any sublimation keychains break but I’ve only subbed on thicker sublimation keychains.
