The year is 1907. It is 10 years after his disappearance from the Paris Opera House and the Phantom has escaped to a new life in New York where he lives amongst the screaming joy rides and freak-shows of Coney Island. In this new electrically-charged world, he has finally found a place for his music to soar. All that is missing is his love - Christine Daaé. Now one of the world’s finest sopranos, Christine is struggling in an ailing marriage to Raoul. So, it is with excitement she accepts an invitation to travel to New York and perform at a renowned opera house. In a final bid to win back her love, the Phantom lures Christine, her husband, and their young son Gustave from Manhattan; to the glittering and glorious world of Coney Island… not knowing what is in store for them…

Seeing "extended" anything Phantom gets me so excited.
I swear, now that the show is going to tour the US, they better decide to put it on Broadway!!!!! So far they haven't talked of it!! 😭😭😭

Maybe Ben Lewis together with Ramin Karimloo would open it. Then all would be settled. People could watch either Ben-Sierra or Ramin-Anna as well.

the song that plays @ 2:42- it also played in the movie version with Emmy, the part where Christine goes to the cemetery. anyone else notice this??
Krystal Harwood the 2004 version was an early draft of the song that was added at webber's request as an Easter egg, hinting he had more phantom stuff in the works.

I think meg is insecure or has anxiety attacks, because she’s breathing heavily and Mme giry is holding her, or comforting her in a way. I feel I relate to meg in LND I never noticed that :O

Are you talking about the original London version of the sequel, or the original story of The Phantom of the Opera? Because in the original London version of the sequel she still dies :( I think it is sad as they have been apart for ten years, only to be separated :( Although I find it sad that Madame Giry thought she was being replaced, and that they will lose their jobs......yet the Phantom never implies that at all :( But if the Phantom didn't leave Christine.....none of the ending would have happened :(
Krystal Harwood I actually pity Meg. She worked so hard to support her mother and the phantom and yet they don't care about her but about Christine only. Not until she treatened to kill herself.

Australia rescued this show. They did an amazing job and the singing is better than the London cast.
