- We set off to find a "Dot on the Map" where an Old Home used to sit. We FOUND IT! After about an hour we stubbled upon a MASSIVE Iron patch along the road and it was LOADED! So much so we don't believe it was just a Home Site. It could have been, but I believe it was something else throughout time. Possible General Store, Post Office, Tavern, Brothel, etc. We found a ton of coins, jewelry, and relics from the 1700's- 1860's. We found Old Coins, Silver and GOLD!! Such an amazing site. I took so much footage we had to split it into 2 Episodes. This is Episode 2 from this hunt!

Been watching others beeping for a while now. It's time to stop living vicariously through The Hoover Boys and some others. What kind of beep stick did you start the searching adventure with? I'm researching and pricing my first detector and having a hard time deciding.
Had to laugh when you said to the newbie’s that hunts like this don’t happen every day, but like once a year or two. I’ve been detecting for over 40 years, and have never approached this level of greatness, so I must be in for a good run, soon! 🤣 Congrats to all of you on a fantastic day of fun and finds.

Been detecting for about 3 years, I go out all the time, and I still have not found a silver coin, i started watching the Hoover boys and the videos have motivated me to be on the hunt for my first silver, I’m determined and I won’t give up till I do, thank you Hoover boys for the amazing entertainment!

Long day yesterday. Up at 5:30 am and 270 miles driven and didn't get home till 8:30 pm. Couldn't wait to get home and watch your video and damned if I didn't fall asleep before you found the gold, so I had to pick up tonight were I fell asleep last night. Wish I had been there with you and making my detector sing. Congrats on the gold, silver and copper.

What a great video and what amazing finds! Your gold pieces look to be an old, lady's watch pin. A small pendant watch would be hung from the hook then the whole thing would be pinned to a lapel or front of a dress. Never seen one like yours though. VERY cool find!

Great dig! I'm wondering though about the 'money clip'. The way it looks, with a hinge and clip to hold it closed, maybe it was a fancy snuff box? Turn the piece that fit on top to access the snuff? Obviously you're going back. Find the other piece! Stay safe.
