Ah, you have found my favorite version of my favorite song. I saw an interview with the drummer Ian Paice where he was asked, " why do you play all those solos and do all that improvisation and all that screaming?" And his answer was, "because we can." 5 unique people who worked like a machine, but a machine loaded with passion. Hard to find people who complimented each other like that. Sheer fire, but with dexterity & control, yet bordering on being out of control.
Top 3 Deep Purple songs: 1 - Hard Lovin' Man 2 - No One Came 3 - Child In Time. This era of the band from 1970 - 1973 was the best, so many good songs!
Hi, your face on Blackmore's solo - says EVERYTHING - just as I was amazed the first time I heard the record - Made in Japan ;-) the good old days - no cell phones in the audience, no distraction - just the pure handmade music 🤟 Greetings from Germany .. stay healthy ...
That feeling creeping in your arms, and chest; thats how the shake in rock dancing happened. To shake it off and not get overwhelmed. Even little kids would lose it, like jelly beans. Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmoore put out power chords like no other! 😆 The songs about the feeling of being in control of powerful emotions that take you. Like driving a beast, or the moment you realise you are in love, not just obssessing or infatuated. Its like an electric connection, you suddenly realise some woman plugged-in.
For being an older song from the old school that still holds up. Always loved it. It’s a speeding train smashing through a tunnel and you’re stapled to the front.
IT kicked ASS from beginning to end and IS in my top three Deep Purple jams.Make no mistake, this 'line-up' IS Deep Purple and the Coverdale/Hughesversion just doesn't compare....
Hello, dear Rebeka. All comments, accurate, and I love how do you react. There are stories from many folks gettin`overspeed traffic tickets because of this terrific tune. The Purple on stage, the very early years, particulary, this performance held in Denmark back in early 1972, touring in support the "Machine Head" recent album. This line up, for many, is the classic and most succesfull one. Keep on rockin`dear, glad to seeing you doing it. Take care.
Your reaction to this was so cute, your facial expression is like, you can't believe anyone is this F ing good. It's adorable, as a teenager listening to this growing up Deep Purple was the band sound everyone wanted to be. Space Truckin was one of our favorite songs, they had quite a few great songs at the time, but Space Truckin for some reason was their break out smash hit everyone liked.
Great choice Rebeka! Amazing song, reminds me of when I wore a much younger man's clothes! The video of studio audio with live footage clips is also amazing. Drummer Ian Paice (one of the best rock drummers ever) has a cool RUclips channel where he talks about a variety of subjects.

Great song! I was a 70’s kid. We didn’t know how good we had it. So much great music! I checked out your reactions to Elton John yesterday. You really should really check out Elton John Live in Central Park from 1980. It was iconic, musically magnificent and just really fun. The music, the costume changes - at one point he came out on stage dressed as Donald Duck - are worth it. Oh yeah - and I was there. It was my first live concert. I might be a little prejudiced 😄
From one 70's child to another, I lived for Machine Head and HIGHWAY STAR! Huh, and I saw Elton John in concert in the 70's with Steely Dan as the front band. What a time, yeah?
Another crazy fact is that the Made In Japan album - from which this comes - was mixed live and recorded directly to stereo at the concert. So no post production possible, not even adjusting the individual instrument levels
I used to listen to this song going about a hundred miles an hour in my 71 GTO. This song and Radar Love by Golden earring made me drive like a maniac!
FIRE! I could see it in your eyes as you were listening, I could hear it from the band as they were playing, I could feel it in my heart as I was experiencing it!!

Take care, stay safe. Peace and love from Liverpool UK 👍✌️🤘☮️
Look on your face from early on to almost the end was.... "I didn't expect that!!" :-) great reaction as always.
5 unique people who worked like a machine, but a machine loaded with passion.
Highway Star is the ultimate Purple song
Hi, your face on Blackmore's solo - says EVERYTHING - just as I was amazed the first time I heard the record - Made in Japan ;-) the good old days - no cell phones in the audience, no distraction - just the pure handmade music 🤟
Greetings from Germany .. stay healthy ...
One of the best live albums in existence.
Deep Purple - Made In Japan
Child in Time and Mistreated are 2 others to check out. Deep Purple were a supergroup 30 years before supergroups were invented. All master musicians.
That feeling creeping in your arms, and chest; thats how the shake in rock dancing happened. To shake it off and not get overwhelmed. Even little kids would lose it, like jelly beans. Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmoore put out power chords like no other! 😆
The songs about the feeling of being in control of powerful emotions that take you.
From a time when rock music ROCKED!!!!
🔥🤘😎🤘🔥
Hello, dear Rebeka. All comments, accurate, and I love how do you react. There are stories from many folks gettin`overspeed traffic tickets because of this terrific tune. The Purple on stage, the very early years, particulary, this performance held in Denmark back in early 1972, touring in support the "Machine Head" recent album. This line up, for many, is the classic and most succesfull one. Keep on rockin`dear, glad to seeing you doing it. Take care.
Watching this makes me so happy 😁
My favorite deep song. Seen them 2 times 1985. Dallas TX. Rock on
No puede ser cada día que pasa te pones más hermosa, y que decir de la banda Deep Purple es fenomenal y una banda leyenda del rock
Verda mi amigo.
The whole band on fire!
Thank you.😊🙏🏼
I instantly recognized the sound, this is from live in Japan. Awesome live album. Don’t play this song while driving Rebeka, you’ll get many speeding tickets.
Correct and the video is from Copenhagen Denmark-synced quite well.
Hi Rebeka, First your Gorgeous, second I grew up with Deep Purple I have every one of of DP albums in mint condition.....Sweet Child in Time, and My women from Tokyo, love them both...but I'm a Deep Purple fan so every song ever made from them is awesome. KEEP ROCKING
I was at this concert in Copenhagen and 2 days after saw them in Odense and 2 dayes after again i Vejle, all cities are i Denmark, so 3 concerts in one week, WOW my ears needed some peace
Le meilleur groupe de son époque inégalable 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍👍👍
Good reaction . Love this one. Deep Purple Rocks. Black Night live Made in Japan rocks also.
Thank you.😊🙏🏼
The best music ever long live rock n roll !!
It's great to see you again, Becks. You gave me a nice birthday present.
And the song? Well, they're the Godfathers of Heavy Metal. They were my first live concert ever back in 2000 (I was 12).
My Deep Purple TOP 3 is:
1) Smoke On The Water
2) Woman From Tokyo
3) Pictures Of Home
¡ ¡ ¡ GOOD JOB ! ! !
Thank you🙏🏼😊
@@rebekaluizebudlevskamusic You're truly welcome, as always
We friggin' KNEW how to rock in the 70's-! If you want to hear another great one from Deep Purple check out the song "LAZY"-!!
Have done it already. Go check it out.😊🙏🏼
I know this song since I was 15 years. Now in my sixties it still gives ne goosebumps Rebeka. Nice and pure reaction!
🙂 great reaction to a great song, 🏁🎯👍 nice one.
🎼🎸🥁🎤🎹🎶🎼 🛣️⭐
Love you Rebeka !!!!🌹🌹🌹
🙂☮️❤️
Yes3.the loudest band in this world of all times.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.
I used to listen to this song going about a hundred miles an hour in my 71 GTO. This song and Radar Love by Golden earring made me drive like a maniac!
Great reaction!! My Deep Purple top 3 are 1) Lazy, 2) Child in Time, 3) Highway Star.
Hello Rebeka...seeing ur reaction made me subscribed,pls have more coming,excited & waiting...Cheers🎉🎉🎉
And that, people, is what's known as Hard Rock. Accept no substitutes.
Best Live album ever made!
Best voice in Rock N Roll! 👊
Best song,

The Energizer Bunny can't hang with this song.
