    Yes, I do as a runner at small doses 1g daily. Helps with recovery, power, and less fatigue.

      1g daily is far below an effective dose, and is likely doing little to nothing beneficial

    • @Ben-yw8be
      @Ben-yw8be 6 месяцев назад +8

      @@ProdJakera Who says? Creatine builds up in your system. 1 gram per day for 7 days is 7 grams. 😂 The body excretes the excess if you have extra. Imagine 5 grams a day for 7 days… that’s 35 grams. That’s quite a bit. The body can only really store so much of it. I have been taking creatine for many years @ 1 gram a day consistently. I feel the effects of it. I’m already 40. I have been taking it since 2008. 😂

    If you’re running AND lifting, sounds like a great idea. has no side effects. People who say otherwise don’t really know what they’re talking about. Creatine has been highly researched.

    I’ve always been a power lifter (only supp was creatine free preworkout) but while training for my first full marathon in 2023, I started losing a lot of mass and strength. Hopped on creatine a couple months later and I was able to maintain a body weight of 206-212 lbs at 5’9.

      yes but it’s muscle weight not fat weight and if you’re lifting that basically means nothing other than big muscle

      @@jehrodsmith9842 the real best runners are classified as underweight. not saying that's a good idea, but unless your running a 400 or lower, you can only lose by having beyond essential muscle mass. Training strength is great, but adding weight is bad.

    • @CupofJoe1
      @CupofJoe1 6 месяцев назад +1

      This is exactly my thought. The water weight is like adding 10lbs... When I took it, my endurance/performance may have been better. But at the cost of my joints. My knees/shins were hurting a lot more with that extra weight. I was getting winded faster, which is mostly a cardiovascular thing, but the water weight didn't help that either!
      Overall I think Creatine is great if your goal is to lift heavier and heavier, like a strongman. If you are just trying to be fit/maintain a healthier lifestyle, there really is not point.
      It's a supplement.. at the end of the day you don't need it! It's like vitamins

      @@Taragarh_guri no, just my opinion tho. Creatine has a main relation with ATP which I honestly don’t see working past the 400 so that’s why I said 800 just to give me some space, definitely not the 1500 tho.
