Hi! As someone with digicam, people don’t usually use “AUTO” mode. I use cloudy/flash wb, -0.3 exp, iso 100. You don’t need to edit it after. Also, I use a sony digicam so the settings may vary.
Hey! Thanks for sharing your sony digicam settings :) I've been collecting digicams from different brands recently, and sony is one I haven't gotten a hold of yet, but I'm super curious to see how it shoots side by side compared to my other cameras! I primarily shoot in manual mode and adjust settings based on the environment I'm in, but yes I do use the Positive Film setting on my SD1000, although not all canon digicams have that option. Thanks again for sharing!
I suggest you get the Sony W series of digicams because of the Carl Zeiss lens. I am currently using the Sony Cybershot DSC-s730. It has a SUPER HAD CCD which is kind of rare (i think) but it’s not perfect and it gets blurry with a little movement. But for photos with flash or perfect lighting, i think it’s great. I also use the “incandescent” white balance when the lighting gets too yellow with the cloudy/flash setting.
a sensible take on this camera, looking through your photos before editing i was 😬that looked kinda sub par considering the hype behind it but your edits brought it around to what i'd hope this camera would push out of camera. You know sometimes it isn't about how much you like the pictures coming out of your camera but the feel of using it and while i kinda poo poo the sd1000 i do love the shape of it. It's a keeper just on looks alone. That's what's kind of fun about digicams is that you can spend very little relatively to film or high end digital cameras and not feel too guilty that it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to be or guilty that you only liked it for the feel of the body. i think you might have to look at some older cameras to get noise that looks a bit more organic (it will never look filmic though some noise patterns at higher ISOs look very pleasing)
Thanks for your comment! I appreciate it so much😊and 100% agree with what you said abt not feeling guilty with digicams! I find that the ease of use with digicams makes taking photos so much more effortless cuz it’s so pocketable! And I believe the saying: The best camera is the one that's with you😋
I like to keep things quick and simple when editing digicam photos, so I gravitate towards VSCO or Snapseed. I used Snapseed on the edited photos in this video. VSCO has a lot of great presets, but if you want to just make small adjustments to your photos, Snapseed gets the job done:) Hope this helps!
@@_smfilms_ For sure yeah, I think it's better to not think about those previous prices, they just werent discovered at that time. For sure great price, have fun with the camera!
love the way you edited this video so satisfying to watch, cant wait to see more pics with this digicam

I think there’s a “Positive film” setting on canon

Im I bought a Kodak easyshare 1013. I want to rediscover old-style photos, they have their own charm
That's exciting! And yes, I agree! old-style photos really have a captivating charm to them. Have fun with your photography!
Next time I'm indecisive about 2 thing, I'll just do both :)
Hehe yes! Get the best of both worlds😋
Where did you buy them? (I’ve been searching for it since 8months n my dad’s bday is nearing- it’ll really help)
@@Nyctophile2530 I got my canon sd1000 at mercari! But other than that I find cameras on facebook market or eBay sometimes. Hope that helps!
@@_smfilms_ thanks(means a lot) and btw is mercari a website?
Is there any way I could contact you? (I really can’t figure out things)
hey! what was the other camera? :)
Hi! The other camera is the canon a2200 😋 I'm thinking of doing a digicam comparison video soon that you might find interesting:) Thanks for watching!
how do u edit em

How much did you pay for it?
I paid $90 😅, not the cheapest considering these used to go for around 20 bucks haha, but a steal at the time I purchased it, I'd say 😋
