They were not garbage, there just have been more interesting heroes. I pretty liked Thor 1 and especially when he changed back into Thor again in the end of the movie. That was epic. And Thor was also really great in Avengers 1, I still consider Thor-Cap-Tony battle one of the best ever in MCU. But yes, Ragnarok made him really great.

Just saw the movie. Hands down one of the best marvel films, maybe even 'the' best in my opinion. Every single scene had you completely captivated and engrossed. Thanos was a 9/10 i.e. amazingly well done, but the black order felt a little underdeveloped character wise. The CGI in the film was just incredible. Maybe the first Marvel film that I really want to go and see again.

I disagree, but not because the film was bad... Far from it, I was engrossed in every scene just like you. My problem is with the Infinity Stones themselves, and the implications they have for the rest of the Marvel Universe. Trying to avoid going into spoilers (and this might seem counterintuitive) but to me this movie solidified the fact that there are no real consequences in the MCU. That takes a lot of the tension out of the films. As a casual fan (watched most of the movies/shows, read none of the comics) that was kinda disappointing.

We thought it was a great movie for fans or casuals a like. They did a really good job weaving all the characters together and it worked out really well. The humour was great and they also manage to tell a story different to the original comics. 2 of us gave it a 9 out of 10. We did a movie review and discussion as well if anyone here is interested! THIS.... DIDN'T.... GET..... AN AWESOMETACULAR???!?!?!?? The movie was absolutely mind-blowingly amazing. I saw it in IMAX 3D and the entire theater full of people were completely stunned once the credits started rolling. Marvel took a huge risk with this movie, the stakes are real, it was full of ridiculously awesome action sequences as well as emotional, heartfelt moments, and Thanos is arguably the best superhero movie villain of all-time. That shit was absolutely incredible!!!!

@Kieron Campion Nah. Age of Ultron is easily the weakest Avengers movie. While I prefer the first movie over the third movie, both of those movies have massive stakes and HUGE implications for the future of the MCU. Age of Ultron had some stakes and implications, but it severely lacked the magic and pace of the Avengers movie that came before and after. Granted, I still enjoyed the movie and found it fun. But, it was still weak overall.

Don't think he's strong enough to conjure up portals between that great a distance, otherwise he could just travel to any planet... but that second one is a good idea, he could have tried it, Thanos probably wouldn't have lost his arm tho since he's a Titan.
This isn't necessarily accurate. His ratings are void of numeral rankings for the fact that movies are diverse and may be good or bad for an entire array of different reasons. You could say awesometacular, blu-ray, and no alcohol required are all the best news, but it isn't a definitive ranking or bullet pointed list, and that's how he likes it.

Last centuary: Empire Strikes back. 21st centuary: Infinity War. Both of theme are the the best written movie cores of the each franchises, I love these two.
Another positive point for me : I was very surprised at how well-portrayed the romantic relationships were in IW. Generally, romances in this type of movies feel cheap or underveloped, and I don't really care about them. But here I really felt for Wanda/Vision, and Quill/Gamora. I think it's because of the good acting and the dialogues that respected the characters. I dunno, I felt like these relationships added stakes to the movie, kept it grounded in some way.
Probably best comic book film to capture what it feels like reading an event comic ive seen so far. Even better than Ang Lee's Hulk with a lot of the transitions being comic book frames. Most marvel films usually only have two to three thing going on at the same time (one being the hero, another being the villain and sometimes one following a b plot), this movie has double that as well as locations that look visually distinct from one another. All in all, very good movie, maybe even better than Avengers 1.

I just got back home from the theater and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a movie quite as brutally emotional as this. NO MATTER WHO YOU THINK WILL DIE, JUST KNOW IT IS SO MUCH WORSE THAN JUST THOSE PEOPLE. When the credits rolled, I immediately started sobbing so hard I couldn’t function and couldn’t breathe because the reality of what just happened hit me like a semi truck rolling down a mountain at full speed. Some of the deaths are just so heart-splitting and incredibly painful to see. Still, there is a serious amount of improvement upon the other Marvel movies I’ve seen. I can truly say, and actually believe myself when I say it, that this movie is the single best movie in the Marvel cinematic universe, at least in my eyes. It puts almost everyone we’ve seen all together to gift one giant cause and left me starving for more. I absolutely adored this film.

If you had The Last Jedi or The Force Awakens spoiled.... USE that as the starting power to say NO I'm not going to pretend that the internet won't spoil this movie .... Logan_Scott_ Dude you have to realize that some people will be assholes no matter what. The asshole subreddits on Reddit realized that nobody forgot how they spoiled TLJ for potentially hundreds of thousands of people (All major deaths and Reys identity on Reddits front page, at prime time, on release day). So they went to Marvel and Movie subs and everybody who had ever said that they would do everything to avoid spoilers was put on the list of a bot who would automatically send out a Private Message with spoilers as soon as they could get their hands of them. That happened on REDDIT! Arguably the most spoiler-proof social media there is (since other social medias still are too stupid to make Spoiler Tags a fucking thing). In the end you can be as careful as possible and its all up to how lucky you are. Shit man if I hadnt read about the Spoiler-bot the day before release I wouldve probably read the spoiler that was sent to me through a Private Message.
Each to their own, but I would never see the point in voicing my doings about a movie I haven't seen yet unless it's exclusively through messaging or on private social media. We thought it was a great movie for fans or casuals a like. They did a really good job weaving all the characters together and it worked out really well. The humour was great and they also manage to tell a story different to the original comics. 2 of us gave it a 9 out of 10. We did a movie review and discussion as well if anyone here is interested! Asians Down Under I thought the humor was overdone a few times especially in the beginning, I actually rolled my eyes for them to stop but I'm glad it tapered off & it didn't really detract from the movie, I loved it.
The humor was done well for once, Thor Ragnorok just had constant cheesy one-liners at the wrong time. These jokes made me laugh out loud

The movie was absolutely mind-blowingly amazing. I saw it in IMAX 3D and the entire theater full of people were completely stunned once the credits started rolling. Marvel took a huge risk with this movie, the stakes are real, it was full of ridiculously awesome action sequences as well as emotional, heartfelt moments, and Thanos is arguably the best superhero movie villain of all-time. That shit was absolutely incredible!!!!
Yeah it's literally a top 3 Marvel movie, maybe even the best. It deserves the highest possible rating. All these post Avengers Marvel movies are pretty forgettable.

Age of Ultron is easily the weakest Avengers movie.
While I prefer the first movie over the third movie, both of those movies have massive stakes and HUGE implications for the future of the MCU.
Age of Ultron had some stakes and implications, but it severely lacked the magic and pace of the Avengers movie that came before and after.
Granted, I still enjoyed the movie and found it fun. But, it was still weak overall.

Okay thank god. I can get back online. Just got back from my special employee Infinity War screening tonight. It’s Thursday morning technically now. And all I can say is that it may be the best marvel movie YET. But it just topped Iron Man as my top favorite. Thanos kills it. And I mean it in the most literal way. Josh Brolin was EPIC.

Don't think he's strong enough to conjure up portals between that great a distance, otherwise he could just travel to any planet... but that second one is a good idea, he could have tried it, Thanos probably wouldn't have lost his arm tho since he's a Titan.

This isn't necessarily accurate. His ratings are void of numeral rankings for the fact that movies are diverse and may be good or bad for an entire array of different reasons. You could say awesometacular, blu-ray, and no alcohol required are all the best news, but it isn't a definitive ranking or bullet pointed list, and that's how he likes it.

Another positive point for me : I was very surprised at how well-portrayed the romantic relationships were in IW. Generally, romances in this type of movies feel cheap or underveloped, and I don't really care about them. But here I really felt for Wanda/Vision, and Quill/Gamora. I think it's because of the good acting and the dialogues that respected the characters. I dunno, I felt like these relationships added stakes to the movie, kept it grounded in some way.

Probably best comic book film to capture what it feels like reading an event comic ive seen so far. Even better than Ang Lee's Hulk with a lot of the transitions being comic book frames. Most marvel films usually only have two to three thing going on at the same time (one being the hero, another being the villain and sometimes one following a b plot), this movie has double that as well as locations that look visually distinct from one another.
All in all, very good movie, maybe even better than Avengers 1.

I just got back home from the theater and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a movie quite as brutally emotional as this. NO MATTER WHO YOU THINK WILL DIE, JUST KNOW IT IS SO MUCH WORSE THAN JUST THOSE PEOPLE. When the credits rolled, I immediately started sobbing so hard I couldn’t function and couldn’t breathe because the reality of what just happened hit me like a semi truck rolling down a mountain at full speed. Some of the deaths are just so heart-splitting and incredibly painful to see. Still, there is a serious amount of improvement upon the other Marvel movies I’ve seen. I can truly say, and actually believe myself when I say it, that this movie is the single best movie in the Marvel cinematic universe, at least in my eyes. It puts almost everyone we’ve seen all together to gift one giant cause and left me starving for more. I absolutely adored this film.

To those that got the movie spoiled slightly or entirely before seeing it, I can ensure you that the ability to stay off the internet for a few days is very doable.
If you had The Last Jedi or The Force Awakens spoiled.... USE that as the starting power to say NO I'm not going to pretend that the internet won't spoil this movie .... Unfortunately we kinda have the Biggest movie ever created right here, perfect or not perfect ...... a looooot of people are seeing it and there are many douche bags who will happily go out of their way to ruin it.... So just filter out the websites you use or stay off it until you've seen it. You're welcome!

Dude you have to realize that some people will be assholes no matter what. The asshole subreddits on Reddit realized that nobody forgot how they spoiled TLJ for potentially hundreds of thousands of people (All major deaths and Reys identity on Reddits front page, at prime time, on release day).
So they went to Marvel and Movie subs and everybody who had ever said that they would do everything to avoid spoilers was put on the list of a bot who would automatically send out a Private Message with spoilers as soon as they could get their hands of them.
That happened on REDDIT! Arguably the most spoiler-proof social media there is (since other social medias still are too stupid to make Spoiler Tags a fucking thing).
In the end you can be as careful as possible and its all up to how lucky you are.
Shit man if I hadnt read about the Spoiler-bot the day before release I wouldve probably read the spoiler that was sent to me through a Private Message.
Each to their own, but I would never see the point in voicing my doings about a movie I haven't seen yet unless it's exclusively through messaging or on private social media. Just seems weird to think that people would write stuff in comment sections saying "I'm gonna see this soon so I don't get spoiled" .... like to me that's just asking for spoilers.
