Next one : Tyler Joseph - blasphemy . This one can definitely impress you even more. He wrote it in high school, one of his songs from the very first album, i guess it 2007.he recorded it all by himself in the garage , without any help
Tyler and Josh(band members) are both actually really religious people, and we hear a lot of Tyler's struggles with God in the beginning albums and his solo album 'No Phun Intended'. I'm not an expert but, as you could probably tell, this song was about how Tyler was feeling as if he was straying from God's path and how he trys to retain his faith but it keeps coming out of his hands. And it's not helping that temptations and the world around him keep holding him back, slowing him down(sand). If ya gimme a second I could probs find a good portion of tøp/Tyler's songs that relate to this topic
Blasphemy-Tyler Joseph Drown-Tyler Joseph Save-Tyler Joseph Never Change-Tyler Joseph Hear Me Now-Tyler Joseph Implicit Demand for Proof-TØP Fall Away-TØP There are a lot of them but reading through lyrics is starting to make me p' sad so I'll let the fandom take it from here. Thank you so much for the reaction, it was great and I love your insights! 😘👍
I'm not a religious person myself and I love that Tyler never makes anything specifically about his faith but I completely adore the way he addresses his faith at times, like in this song. Its beautiful and just sad considering the mindset he was during the time. Yes, again as a non religious person i can interpret this in any way, but the way he's speaking about the topic it just hits so much harder emotionally
I love twenty one pilots so much (I just recently found this channel because you reacted to them) and there are so many songs throughout their albums that have a religious influence but I suggest their unofficial albums “No Phun Intended” and “Regional at Best”. Those were kind of the two albums that got them label deals. I also highly suggest listening to all of their songs because every single one of them is different and has a really deep meaning usually about mental health (“Guns for Hands”, “Car Radio”, and “Migraine” are good examples of Tyler explicitly talking about mental health). Please keep making these videos I love them! ❤️
Thank you. I can’t tell you how much I needed this AT THIS MOMENT. I’m a believer but going through a major life upheaval in the last twelve hours. 21 pilots fan but I have never heard this. Thank you for your pastorship. Thank you for showing how a real man of god can be touched.
This is one of my favorite from them. You should definitely react to Kitchen Sink. That one is really deep, yet Tyler, the singer, won’t tell us what the meaning is🤷♀️
what he said that is a kitchen sink is really meaningful to him hence the lyrics "a kitchen sink to you isn't a kitchen sink to me". tyler once said in an interview that if he told us what the meaning of kitchen sink to him is then it'll lose it's important purpose to him. but what the clique has theorized is that //TW suicide mention// most people when they hang themselves, they do it at a kitchen sink so that it kills them faster. what the clique theorized is that maybe tyler tried to do something along that but no one truly knows the meaning for tyler himself. that's what i have gotten and what the clique has gotten in general about this
I think we have a lot of the same favorite bands. And also songs by those bands. It's kinda crazy. (I also commented on your brand new Jesus Christ video)
In the Bible, "water of life" is a metaphor representing the spiritual nourishment and salvation offered by Jesus Christ, signifying the life-giving power of God and the renewal that comes from accepting his teachings; most notably found in the Gospel of John, where Jesus speaks of "living water" to a Samaritan woman at a well, symbolizing the eternal life he provides to those who believe in him. This song is a plea from Tyler for God to renew his faith after life beat it out of him.
