Tyler has talked about possibly writing a book series or movie about the whole dema story line. I really hope he makes a movie
I would love to read or watch or both.. whichever art form he decides on.
I think a novel would be fantastic way to really provide depth to the lore, and if that becomes popular he could then find someone willing to produce a movie

Nico was betrayed by Keons - a bishop who admires Clancy for his escape attempts.
Keons seizes the dragon to crash into the submarine and free Clancy. So the bishops kill him.

@@pedrob7066 I thought so too. You know how all the bishops represent traits? I don’t know all of them but Keons represents repetition. Clancy escapes over and over again no matter how many times he gets captured - he’s in the cycle which Keons is a fan of.
In the Clancy letters, Keons is highlighted as a bit of a nicer bishop, not as cruel.

Tyler has said this is the last album in the Dema story line but this is NOT the end of twenty one pilots. They’ll still be making music we just don’t know what it’ll be about

Last story in the dema storyline then they’ll start a new story or release albums that are standalone but Tyler will never stop telling stories
10:55 thankfully, tyler confirmed this will not be the end of twenty one pilots, and it will only be the end of the trench story. Additionally tyler also said they want to continue telling other stories like this one.

Welcome to your first album release as a fan. So many clues leading up to the release of new music. That feeling at the end of watching is as much of why I love tøp as the music. The community coming together to work on the lore for years is a real gift from them

Nico was not the bishop that was killed, another bishop named Keons used the sea monster to destory the submarine and thus thwarting a DEMA operation. What we assume is that the submarine was carrying Vialists to what they call the annual assemblage of the glorified, where many take their own life to complete Vialism. Keons stops this for some reason, and Tyler was able to escape from the submarine wreck. The bishops killed Keons for doing this.

Tyler said it's the end of the Dema storyline, but not for Twenty One Pilots. The 29th is a new single to be released. Then we will get an album. We can only assume the tour won't start until at least May because Jenna is due with baby #3 in April.
They give their fans so much! Other bands just announce a date for new music and tell you to go pre-order. Not our boys!!!! Cryptic home video with tour company info in sight, letters sent to homes of 1500 fans, (I got one) and a full on Lore video from Clancy!!! The frenzy!! The anticipation!! I cant wait!

I will never, EVER forget my first TøP concert in Philadelphia back in 2022(?). I ran into sooooo many fans who were so kind and it was like this massive family reunion, but I didn’t know a single one of those people. It was such a surreal and unforgettable night.

Voldsoy means violence, it's a reference to the line 'Behind my eyelids are islands of violence' in Migraine.

there is speculation that the album will be called "Inferno" because of the content of the letter that some fans received, but we will see everything on 29 february for sure

Love your reaction to this! I've never seen an artist write/explain the truth of what mental illness really is about. That cycle of being reeled back into the land of mental illness, no matter how many times you attempt to get out for good.
This video Tyler made definitely helped lots with lore, and there's a music playlist for the songs that sing about the lore
I also think it's very cool that they made this lore video to catch everyone up because I haven't even kept up on all of the lore
One cool thing about the thing that he puts on his neck is that its supposed to represent blurryface overtaking him and he puts the paint on his neck during concerts. After the concerts with all the sweat it comes off, showing that he won against blurryface. (I don't know If I stated all the facts correctly but someone can correct me if I didn't)

Just fyi on trench which will help understand the Lore better:
Trench is not the destination of freedom. Yes it is luscious and green but it’s treacherous. It is described in the lyrics as “the place in between two places, where we used to bleed and where our blood needs to be”
In the opening lines of trench, in the song jumpsuit Tyler cries out “I can’t believe how much I hate pressures of a new place roll my way”
Indicating that it is a difficult, pressure filled place and is the place in which Nico keeps catching him before he can reach the other side which is truly know. As “the outside”. Trench is the place that needs to be travelled through in order to get to the new place, that has not yet been revealed. That place will be revealed in the new album and I believe it is a place out of reach of the power of the bishops.
So Tyler has said that in order to come up with the inspiration to write his music that he must sink himself back into Dema time and time again. So if this is the end it may well be that he refuses to sink back down therefore this is the last album maybe.
Only Tyler could explain a decade worth of lore in four minutes

By the way the new album is not going to be one of Joy and peace and happiness - Tyler has referenced that it may be their darkest album ever. But it will be one of overcoming. And that final stretch of overcoming is often the most painful

I don’t think this album is going to represent peace and joy…. I think the running theory is that this album is going to be about war with the bishops, no longer simply running away, but Clancy returning to free the other citizens of Dema.

I think the whole thing is about trying to be a Christian in the music industry, which at its core is an evil industry, and you have to compromise a lot to have true success. Look into Tyler’s past. He has collaborated on Christian music, and they have spoken about their faith.

Personally I want the story to be over. I think sometimes the story gets in the way of the music. And no offense to them but I listen to the music group for the music. If he wanted to tell a story he should write a book or a script for it to be made into a show. He has reached a level of fame in which I’m sure he could put his script on some peoples desk
