And I love that the singer’s aesthetic is so perfect for this. She looks like the love interest girl of an American Football video that was never filmed. Great performance from the whole band, though!
Gotta agree with everyone else, she was clearly nervous on the first line, but once everyone took off, they killed this. It's a little punkier and messier than the original and I think that just makes it their own! Really awesome to (even 5 years late, lol) see this song still getting love

As a GINORMOUS Brand New fanatic, this brought literal tears to my eyes!! This version kicked ASS!! I LOVE the substitution of the Keytar for the lead guitar riffs, and the vocal harmonization sent chills down my spine!! GREAT JOB, Y'ALL!!! ❤❤❤❤

This just popped up in my suggested. Well done. This came out when i was a teen. Now my son is 17 and plays it. I got him a really nice telecaster last yr for Christmas. The deal was he could have my old squire strat i got it all hooked up like new for him. If he learned to play on that (which mind you at the time i got it i thought was the baddest thing ever created except for my gf lol) he did he learned quickly and 6 months later he got the really nice tele he picked out. I actually got it on a black friday deal custom made to the exact set up he wanted a deal the offered for 24 hrs on blk Friday. When my current gf not the one from back in the day picked it up at guitat center the gut at the counter said is this for you? Or at least did you pick this out set up like that. She was like honestly i wish I could tell you i did but my bf picked it out for his son whos 17. The guy goes wow this is really nice and to who ever picked it and gets it well done. I should send a vid of him playing this song so you can see him play. Hes really good especially for his age

lol there's usually 100-150 at the shows, but we zoom the cameras in on the stage and most people sit further back. Stoked that there were some young 'uns getting into it up front though! This was so rad
