those things are such cool bikes, it's a damn shame they don't make them anymore. I wish there were more cruisers like it, the sort of sporty muscle cruiser instead of the lethargic, lopey stuff we have today
It's probably the best looking exhaust for the Octane but way to loud for my neighbours. I (and many others) have been searching everywhere for a clip of this exhaust with the baffle installed. I beg you to upload a clip with the baffle installed! :)
Spiros300 I got this answer from a reseller on eBay regarding this exhaust and a quiet baffle. "Sorry, but no. There isn't a quieter baffle we know of. The baffle section is so short any change in baffling won't make much of a difference"
Don't know what the guy on Ebay is taking about. I have the quite baffle, it seals the tip but is perforated to allow the exhaust to flow and quiets the exhaust big time. I've provide the link to freedom performance for your reference. I would stay away from Ebay and just order it from Freedom Performance. I have provided the Indian link as it fits the octane.... www.freedomperform.com/product/indian/scout-combat-2-into-1/
Its usually sold for the Indian Scout, contact www.freedomperform.com. I've also seen them on Ebay but sold at a higher price, I purchased it from dynamiccycleparts.com they can always take care of you. Ask for Stephen and tell him Spiros sent you. Hope all works out, you'll love this exhaust!!!
Hello my fellow Riders, first of all great video and a beautiful machine you got. I got a question: i decided to get myself a chopper, i was riding my 400cc bike for almost 1,5 years now and decided i wanna step it up. I just can't decide between the Indian Scout and the Victory Octane. Both very similar bikes when it comes to power delivery and looks but i just can't decide. Anyone got any advice for me?
Very similar bikes, the big difference is that the octanes gear ratio is more aggressive than the Scout. Also, comes down to looks, both bikes are amazing...
I have the Octane and have to say, it was so much more than what i expected. I can second the comment on the gear ratio. It straight gets up and moves. I do admit most of the power is over 4k rpms but once it hits , you’re gone. Absolutely faster bikes but not in that line that i know of. Definitely not the scout. Change the exhaust asap though. I can’t believe it still costs so little compared to the Harley garbage.
It's a harley killer because of the fact that the Octane came stock with 100hp and if you compare similar 2017 HD bikes it destroys them... Add an exhaust and a tune and your pushing over 120hp at the wheel... I own 2 Harleys and needed to spend $$$$$$ to get those numbers... Plus the brand still exists under Indian Motorcycle, which is owned by Polaris who owned victory. Just look at the Indian Scout!!!! Sorry to disappoint you.... 😞
Lmao 🤣 🤣 🤣.... Don't know what a hardly is....🤔🤔🤔 if you're referring to a Harley Davidson, I have 3 of them and still love my Octane.... Stop hating 😒
Hands down my favorite octane video!!!!
Thank you!
Thanks for making this video keep making more
Thank you for subscribing and taking the time to watch it! Once the ridding season starts I'll be posting a lot more videos....

Yes Sir, still happy with my Octane.
Check out the new scout rogue. Practically the exact same bike.
Indian scout bobber lineup is nearly the same. The octane is the scout predecessor
Sounds wicked!
Thank you, sir.... I love this bike!!!!!
Maaaaaan that sounds like a storm is coming fast sounds great
Gary Reynolds thank you, she's a lot of fun....
Thank You!
This is underestimated bike. I have Octane to and i like it very. Nice upgrade btw. Greetings from Europe.
Thank you, love this bike! Where are you from? I spend a lot of time in Greece......
Im from Poland.
What’s up man, I was just wondering if you were still happy with these? I’m thinking about getting them and seeing how you felt
Sounds great. My hacker mayhem custom exhaust is significantly louder on my octane. I need to buy a baffle it’s sad LOL
Polaris understood good design, power, reliability. Sadly I don't have any use for Indian.
Lifted_Above Victory had something special, it's sad that they ended that brand!!! At least I have this gem!
Just gona send it! 😂😂
Good lord that sound's fantastic and i am definitely getting this exhaust. Any performance gains from this setup?
Yes, with an air filter and a tune. I believe my last dyno was 105hp to the real wheel.
@spiros-300 what air filter if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks, once the ridding season starts in Canada I will upload a vid.... The baffle makes a huge difference, its about 30% quieter.....
30% quieter sounds promising!
My order of this exhaust is depending on the outcome of your future video :)
Take a look at this vid. Its not an Octane but it will give an idea of the difference when its baffled... ruclips.net/video/OTxAljo1lU8/видео.html

I have the same exhaust on mine. Has your right ear gone deaf yet? Hahahaaha
qwerty123456789 lol... I always wear ear plugs.
are the wheels painted? or is that some kind of vinyl tape?
boost331 Thanks for the view! It's a vinyl pinstripe. I purchased the kit from this website motoinkz.com/

did you have to do fuel management for it?
Dylan L yes, power commander V plus I had it dyno tuned.
How much power/tq it making?
