@@BT_life2 with my windscreen (7jurock) it wasn't bad at all, if I tucked i could get out of the wind, I had no problems at the factory limit (147mph indicated)
I recently purchased a Rocket 3 GT 2022 and I must say it is a torque monster. I don't think I need to grow a larger penis at 67 years old. I just putt around town. But shit, it will get it in all gear ranges. Mostly I ride in 4th or 5th. I just love the attention to detail that Triumph put into this bike. I have owned 43 bikes since 1971. Hell, I owned a Boss Hoss 502cid and I think this bike (Triumph) is much more refined and much more torque. The V8 lost torque in the transmission. It finally failed and the folks in Tennessee want $5000 for a new transmission. To hell with that. I took it apart and the planetary gears broke into pieces. Could not handle the 600 horses and besides it was like driving a truck. Ran hot as I live in Texas. My legs were burn't after a days ride. This GT3 is so much fun. I read not many more years for the internal combustion engines as the world is moving to EV. I hope not. I have two Chevy 454s modified and I love rattling windows. The Tesla cars may be fast but no soul.
You guys are doing some great work. Bet the camera that froze was a Gopro. DJI Action 3 if you want one that works all the time. That Rocket 3 looks a beast
LOVE THE BIKE, I am gonna assume the gearing is way too short now with all that power. And some wind protection might help. What does a normal Rocket 3 do with a tune to remove top speed limiter? I'd think not far short of this
@@mcplutt perfect at stock power (I have one) but these TTS supercharged ones seem to run through gears too quickly for the rider to keep up with... There's gotta be ways to change it... Possibly just the rear axle

Hi you guys at TTS Performance the way you do such brilliant work on these engines and the quality of the engineering and final results and finish is outstanding. One thing I would like to ask is that I own a Rocket 3 2022 and I find that the steering shakes a lot when pushing it to the limits and could do with a steering damper on it have you found this to be a problem especially with all that extra power. If you could advise me I would appreciate it.
Well done. On a naked bike yes, it’s fast. The wind will beat you to hell. Would love to get my hands on a supercharger kit. I’ve put a couple on a two different mustangs, but never on a bike.
With the beast unleashed, we need higher speed rated tires. The V tires are only good on the tracks and Bonneville for 149 mph. Can we get some Z rated tires to fit the big girl now ?
they should try having a drag race with a kawasaki h2.... and see what it happened..... i think on paper record the triumph rocket 3 is flawless.... but in actual performance i think the h2 will smoke this motorcycle all day long...
200 mph is correct value for this power at cda 0,45-,0,50 in standarised condition 👉🏻 level road no wind 20 degrees 1000-1050 hpa assuming they setup eprfect gearing where 200 mph and peak power happen at the same time 😉👍🏻
So complete layman take here - In the first 4 gears, I hear the limiter cackling. The bike IIRC in standard trim is good for 140.. The engine has limited revs - and this shows up in the limiter cackling. My humble opinion here is the gearing is limiting the bike and longer gearing would be 'useful'. I know its shaft drive, so don't know how easy it is to up gearing. From what I read the bike weaves nastily at high speed, to a bespoke faring may be a good idea.
I had the 502 in 2005. I don't think Monte made a Chevy 632 bike. My machine shop friend has several 632s he built for airboat applications. They run too hot in a motorcycle. I know for a fact after 5 years of riding the 502cid it was hot on a 95F day. Don't put a lot of praise on the Boss Hoss. I owned a ZZ4 350 powered bike in 2000 for two years. They are not that precision built. They handle like a Box truck. Only a conversation piece. About it.

Gearing limited mate. It took only 14 sec to go from 0-170. It would pull 200 if a change of gearing. But isn’t easy.
