Looks like I'll be paying you a visit in the future with my about to be purchased '21 r3r, left completely stock👍 Looking forward to a rocket again after owning one for 5 years then stupidly selling it 5 years back
Is the stock over-run pop/burble inherent to engine/valve timing/exhaust, or is the over-run characteristic a function of Factory ECU programming ? (Does your re-flash retain or eliminate the pops/burbles ?)
The throttle restrictions in 5th and 6th gear are the main reason I wanna get the ECU reprogrammed on my '22 Speed Twin. The acceleration is fine from 0-100, but above 100mph it just falls on its face. Most people would be fine with the factory tune I suppose? I've done quite a few mods to the bike already, and am just waiting for the odometer to reach 1000mi. before I remap the ECU. Don't wanna push my luck before a reasonable run in period.
I have all the stuff to update my mapping as well, on the throttle opening, what did you do, or suggest I do to fuel to get best HP? thanks love your videos
Hi, in last the 4 months I've watched this post at least 15 times. (likely more) I wonder each time regarding the headers as to being too small at the headend. I wonder as to anyone making an aftermarket header or is there simply not enough room to increase the internal tube exit diameter by 8 to 10 mm to the collector area? Kindest Regards, Bob Griffith
@@TTSPerformance I know very well of the crazy world of which you speak and I wish I didn’t. In any event, I am planning on taking delivery of a new 2023 rocket from a dealership in South Florida. I am replacing my older one. If you could keep me in mind, I would seriously consider going to a larger exhaust port header. Kindest Regards, Bob Griffith
Can I ask as a layman, for normal road riding, the torque is the piece de resistance of this bike. That increase was minimal. I would only see the benefits of the horsepower gain if i was to rev it high, which i dont on the road. If so, the £400+ my local tuner charges would be a waste of money for me.
Sorry, just read through my posting and it didn't come across as I meant it to in my head. It was actually a question and had I understood it correctly. I guess a question mark at the end might have helped.
Triumph Rocket 3’s are flashed with different serial numbers so me sending you a flash may require copying and pasting to your version so you need to know the Tuneecu software pretty well so as to not missing a vital map when copying. I have asked Tuneecu what’s required to bench flash so I can offer a post service.
Why the graph looks like you've lost power between 2000 - 5000 rpm? ... I'm just curious, maybe i didnt read it correctly, but for me that doesn't look right...
Lots of reviews where people are dressed in Harley Davidson or Indian clothes ... beying under hypnose with the T-Rocket 😂😂😂 They must become crazy those americans 😂😂
were you looking at the same graph as me ? Because whilst the peak difference isn't huge the difference across the rest of the rev range was insane. You also forget this removes the restriction in gear 1 & 2 with massively limit the power.
you lie lil bit 😉 nr2 130-140 mph closest to 6000 rpm on 5 gear so peak power stock 1,3 sec around on stopwatch nr 3 after flash 1-1,1 so this fix good 👌🏻 170 whp almost comapre to 142 whp stock 👍🏻 however in next run nr 4 you got the same as on stock acceleration time from 130 to 140 mph on 5 gear = around 1,3 sec around thers no way there was 175 whp 🫣 dont lie bro 😉👌🏻
Richard seems so down to earth yet is like a mad scientist obsessed with speed. Gotta love it.
That’s me😂

Bloody hell that's impressive! Looked like R3 owners day!
Congrats, top notch as always!
👍
Lovely paint scheme. Any idea where it was done? Thanks.
Kinda want a rocket three now
Love your work

Love the bike, hate those bar end mirror monstrosities .
Sounded great

Nicely done!

You need to get the fueling right
Αufull tank paint. Why would you do that to such a classy bike?
Each to his own.
If he is happy then who cares what others think.
Any better then free ecutuine free remaps?
Do you sell the oem exhaust for 2023 rocket? I have werks but want to go back. Tnx
Need to make some new headers.
I need cloning. No time.
@@TTSPerformance lol
ouha that beast is dirty!
Is that with stock exhaust?
What exhaust are u running?

We have made big headers but just to busy to test. Crazy world I’m in. Sorry we will get there.

Vandemond do a less restrictive manifold im thinking of buying if it mates with my patriot exhaust, hopefully more gains again.
I was looking to do the same, I asked them and they said it will mate with anything standard or made to fit the standard headers so should fit.
What is "db killer"?
Great video! How does this re-flash affect the bike's longevity? Or gas mileage?
Depends on your right hand😄
@TTSPerformance haha fair enough. But running at 100% throttle capacity vs stock, do you feel like that impacts the longevity?
Yes it will affect both but I don’t know by how much.

Then don’t do it.

Im gutted i live in the frozen north of Scotland or i would be in for a tune on the dyno .
how can I buy this tune for my rocket, I am in Canada, Rocket 3R. I have tuneecu PRO VERSION.
Just email sales@tts-performance.co.uk
I am in Canada too. Looking forward for update eco!
I've reflashed racing drones but would be scared to reflash a bike lol.
Did you ride the bike after to see how much difference it made?
I’d love the map. I have same exhaust and a DNA air filter. Any chance of loading it to TUNEECU? Or I’m happy to pay if you can send it.

@@TTSPerformanceI was going to ask the same question
Very similar numbers after my reflash, I’d love to get the headers changed out but don’t see anything available
how did you do it?
What exhaust does it have on it
Werkes.
How much do you charge for that tune Richard, I was going to do a Tune ECU mod on mine but would prefer a dyno tune that you have done.
2hrs Dyno. Please call to book 01327 858212👍
TTS Performance, Bike world, car wow Collab when????
They are so busy. But we are always trying to arrange it.
@@TTSPerformance ohhh okay Sir.
3:30 You must mean a ‘cup of tea’…🤔
Do you sell a better full power map for a 2020 GT with stock exhausts UK.Cheers
Yea we can do that. Please email TTS
Richard did you see my email back to you last week about the battery in the C7?
I didn't? please resend:)

At 8.25. You can see the red line is above the blue everywhere.
@@TTSPerformance Thank you for the reply. Now I see it. Looks okay there. My apologies. 😇✌🏻️
Maybe is time for me to upgrade the map’s 🤔
Top speed?
Around 170 mph
Im getting one!
Is that wheel horse that 174??
Yes

As a layperson seemed to me not much difference… a few extra HP - really?

“A few extra”?
32 horsepower is a tremendous increase from just a little tuning lmao. Do some research.
Want mine done now…. F@ck Triumph and their warranty I want full power….
It's a pity it sounds like an old diesel Van, half the thrill with a bike is the sound

The Dyno figures are there I didn’t paint them on.
