I bought one for Windows a week ago and although the Bolt version, according to Logitech, theoretically has less interference because it uses Bluetooth low energy, I'm finding it worse. I feel a certain lag and stuttering, the pointer doesn't move exactly as intended. Changing the DPI makes it faster, but doesn't solve the other problems. If I connect to Bluetooth directly without the dongle, it gets even worse.
What improved the inconsistency in the pointer movement a little was using an extender to keep the dongle close to the mouse, which I didn't need to do with the other wireless mice I have.
It also doesn't glide smoothly on my mouse pad, I feel a certain resistance and I need to use more force to push it. This is making my hand tired very quickly.
Compared to my G903 gaming mouse and even the M170, which is a simpler mouse, the MX Master S3 seems much inferior despite the price.

Oh wow, that doesn't sound great. I'm not familiar with the G903 or M170, but my MX Master 3S (which I use with bluetooth on a glass desk) is great; tracking is good, and it works much better on my glass desk with my iMac than the old MX Master that I had. Is it possible you got a lemon? Maybe returning it and trying another one might be good, and/or making sure you're using the latest driver and that it's updated?
Thank you for sharing your experience!

@@CharlieAlbrightPianist I'm not sure if mine came with a problem, so I'm looking for information. I have until the 31st to return it.
Now that I'm looking for the problem itself, I'm finding a lot of complaints for the same reason.
With the dongle close by it's working fine now, but for a multi-connection device, I'm finding that the connection is very weak.
I'm also using their keyboard on the same dongle and there seems to be no lag, at least not noticeable for typing.
The two mice I mentioned are from Logitech, but they use the 2.4ghz connection, just like the Unifying dongle that the Mx master mice used to connect before they changed to the Bolt, which uses the Bluetooth connection.
The software and firmware of both the mouse and the dongle are up to date.
