Nissan Rogue Murano Juke and other models were built like a toy. Let's play!
2017 - 2020 Nissan Rogue Murano How to replace blower motor.
Is the 2017 Nissan Rogue a Good Used SUV?
The 2017 Nissan Rogue is a good SUV. It provides a comfortable ride with plenty of passenger and cargo space, great fuel economy, and excellent safety scores. Yet, because of its dull performance, it only manages a midpack ranking in the compact SUV class.
    Why You Can Trust Us
We've researched 36 Nissan Rogue reviews, as well as hard data points like reliability scores and cost of ownership estimates, to help you make the best car-buying decision possible.
U.S. News Best Cars has been ranking and reviewing vehicles since 2007, and our team has decades of experience in the auto industry. Though we're passionate about cars, we're even more committed to providing helpful consumer advice. To maintain objectivity, we don't accept expensive gifts or trips from car companies, and an outside team handles the advertising on our site.
How Much Is the 2017 Nissan Rogue?
According to more than 4,000 listings for the 2017 Nissan Rogue on our site, you can expect to pay between $16,900 and $27,000. The average list price is $20,100. Prices vary depending on the vehicle’s condition, mileage, features, and location.
How Much Does the 2017 Nissan Rogue Cost to Own?
Fuel, insurance, maintenance, and repairs for a 2017 Rogue will cost you an estimated $23,840 over five years (or around $4,760 per year). This is slightly above average for the compact SUV class, but not by a lot. The 2017 Honda CR-V ’s five-year costs are estimated to be about $21,200, and the 2017 Mazda CX-5 ’s expenses are projected to be about $22,660. The 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid has five-year cost estimates of about $23,000.
How Much Does It Cost to Insure a Nissan Rogue?
The cost of insuring a Nissan Rogue will depend on a variety of factors, including your deductible, the level of coverage that you want, and the type of insurance that you choose. Your age, gender, location, credit score, and driving record can also have an impact on your insurance rates. Check out our car insurance guide to find the best policy for you.
Is It Better to Buy a Used or New Nissan Rogue?
A 2018 Nissan Rogue’s base price of $24,800 is almost $5,000 more than the average used 2017 Rogue. There are some pretty significant differences between the 2018 and 2017 Rogue. Nissan introduced standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as the optional ProPILOT driver assistance system, for the 2018 model year. ProPILOT is a suite of technologies that can autonomously steer, accelerate, and brake the Rogue under certain conditions. If none of these changes matter to you, and you're open to driving a used car, consider sticking with a used 2017 Rogue to save money. Also, if you’re eyeing the Rogue for its available third row, you’ll have to shop for a used model. That feature was discontinued for the 2018 model year.
There aren’t many 2018 compact SUVs that fall in the average price range of a used 2017 Rogue, but you could opt for a new subcompact SUV instead. The 2018 Honda HR-V starts at $19,670, and its relatively spacious cargo hold and sturdy build quality make it a solid choice. Though the cargo hold isn’t as large as the Rogue’s, the HR-V has more rear-seat legroom. The 2018 Mazda CX-3 ($20,110) excels where the 2017 Nissan Rogue fails to deliver. It offers sporty performance, while also delivering a refined interior and excellent safety scores. However, it has far less passenger space and cargo room than the midsize Rogue.

Hello, back again... I returned to my fan motor replacement and prepared an oil filter wrench to enable me to rote the fan motor from its locked position. As I mentioned in my previous post Axtuo Ax failed to mention in what direction to turn the fan motor. Not able to turn the fan motor counterclockwise or left I proceeded to turn it clockwise or right and suddenly it popped out. Also, I mention that I didn't think it was necessary to remove everything other than the glove box compartment, initially I did, but experienced it was a waste of time and effort because the unit slipped from right underneath the glovebox frame. Just wanted to contribute to Axtuo's video which is far better than others I watched...

Thanks for posting this video. Made my like a whole lot easier. Still was a MFer, but this made it way better. On a side note, Nissan replaced this blower motor while the car was under warranty, and didn't even bother to put the motor screw back in.

Enjoy watching the very helpful video, the one thing you failed to mention was the direction of turning the unit out. The problem I have is that I loss arm strength and couldn't turn the motor out, at one point I even thought it turn to the right. Nevertheless, your process was good, I wonder if it was necessary to remove all you removed to access the unit. Without removing everything you did I had a clear access and grip to the motor, but not the strength. Thanks again, it was fun to watch...

That fan assembly came out a little easier than I thought it would. Good thinking on that oil filter wrench. After I started watching car repair videos on RUclips I always make sure I clean out my console and shake out my floor mats before I give it to the mechanic. I'd hate for my messy car to show up on RUclips.

What made you suspect it was the blower motor in the first place and not the resistor? I would hate to tear everything down just to find out that the blower motor is fine and the problem is actually something else like a resistor
