  • Bowing can be done daily - morning, afternoon or evening.
    The benefits of bowing include:
-Aligning your spine & posture/opening energy and blood circulation + strength in your joints
-Burning calories and strengthening your lower body (20 mins of bowing is just as good as 20 mins of running)
    -Recharging/refreshing your energy - purification
-"Burning your desire" (releasing excess emotions and desires for eating, sleeping, sex, or other stimulants)
-Centering your mind/increased focus and awareness
    -Reflecting on yourself/Spiritual awakening
In the buddhist tradition, depending on your physical and energetic condition, you can do various number of bows*, slow or fast. The slower you go, focus on your breathing and the feeling in your joints and circulation. The more bows you do you should go faster, this will be a physical exercise + a spiritual awakening time.
Usually 103 bows is done as a daily practice.
9 bows - between meetings or with a busy schedule
21 bows - before your meditation
    49
    81
100 - daily if possible, to maintain a pure state of energy flow (done fast takes 15-20 minutes)
    200 - when 100 just isn't enough
300 - when you have A LOT of negative thoughts or emotions
500 (for deep repentance and totally shifting your energy to a new level)
    1000 (for serious spiritual awakening)
3000 (the level of a buddhist monk)
*Always do 3 bows to finish each set: Sincerity towards Heavan, Gratitude to the Earth, and Prayer for Humanity.

Love this bowing/prostrations practice.. Very informative, captivating,
and relaxing. Would it be possible to also see different camera angles
during this bowing practice in the future? (such as front view and back view in addition to the side view?). Hope you continue performing this practice often. Much love!
