A lot of people knows Slash because of the popularity of Gn'R, it's more easy to say that he's from Gn'R so maybe people will recognize him more easily. Even if he left, Gn'R continue to be his best band ;)
As great as slash is, his guitar techniques and his sound doesn't seem to fit in this kind of classic rock/metal. And I absolutely love slash, he's amazing
I enjoy hearing these different takes, on these classics. He sounds like a cross between Zakk Wylde and Tony Iommi
