I've watched quite a few vardo builds lately, some of them painfully detailed. Your slideshow showed me most of what I need to know with no unnecessary waffle! To see such a magnificent example of the Master Craftsman's art is really something to enjoy, to marvel at the beauty of the wood hues and grain, the tight tolerances, the intricacies of the shapes of differing joining surfaces, and every other fascinating thing that's going on is utterly compelling! There's real love in this very special build, thank you for sharing this superb video!

Its not a vardo. Vardos are a wagon with four wheels. Two of the wheels must be used steer. Its like a person calling a boat a car. Its ok, roma culture is just here to be stolen by white people.
this is awesome! I would like to build a wagon in my back yard along with a flowery fruit and veggie garden all around. I have big dreams that I will make come true. Thank u for this! I already have the wagon. it was my late husbands wagon and he.would so love this idea. I wish he were still here!!

Wow are you talented and skilled! Gorgeous modern vardo. Very streamlined in appearance. I miss the brighter colors and the bric-a-brac but that is solely my likes. Your music group is great too. Gorgeous no doubt and fascinating to see the work put into it. But you don't get too see the be all end all pictures!! Just some quick spinets rather than a floor to ceiling view!! A nice panoramic view of the inside would have been a dream come true.

@@Judathehero I don't really see how using the word vardo to connect these modern day interpretations to the culture they originally came from is offensive. The whole idea behind using the word vardo is, in fact, meant to show respect to Roma culture. I have been told by other Roma people that this is correct. I'm sorry you are offended. It's hard to know what to do when you get differing information.

This is totally amazing!!!! Have just acquired a very run down old camping trailer as a project and was wondering what to do. I'm loving the vardo idea. Can I ask what you used to cover the wood on the exterior of the roof? The fibreglass over the wood is absolute genius!!
