ya love his channel and what people dont release is that when we copied each other it's a shout out. If this were to go big what do you think would be the first video suggested by RUclips right after it. Marling Baits
Crazy action simulates injured baitfish. Join the halves with an adhesive-sealant like a polyurethane or polysulfide product. Cheapest option would be polyurethane roof and window sealant. One caulk tube would join hundreds of lures but once opened you have to use it in a few days. There is also a 2 part polyurethane product in a small tube. Use the solid eye for line attachment so it can be tuned...split rings prevent tuning.
Man it's funny how things go round, i had forgotten about your channel, i have been so busy with life..... then i was curious about 3d printed fiahing lures after seeing a little kid smashing fish all day long on one when we were on vacation. So hear I am enjoying your videos once again!
Great job guys ! I think it is cool that you are on your way to making your very own fishing lures. Mark this day down. Don't pay any attention to the PESSIMISTS ! Pessimists are complainers and NEVER amount to anything , not doers. When they are still sitting and complaining , you will be living the good life ! Kudos to you Fowler !
Can’t believe you guys had a 3D printer on your boat, LOL. Must be one of the first to do that... Great video. If you’ve made some better lures in the mean time, please make another video. Cheers
I've been printing some molds for soft baits. So far it has been working pretty well. Petg holds up well to the higher temperatures of the hot plastic being poured.
There’s always going to be people that complain. It’s almost like they are jealous they didn’t get a free 3D printer so they talk crap. Even if you only make lures it’s worth it. Keep doing your thing! 🔴⚪️worldwide!
I would imagine that all that freshly melted plastic and super glue would not smell good to a fish, and then you hit one anyway! (I commented 2 min too early! Finished typing and you cover that issue) Goes to show what I know...lol! Love your creativity and fresh content Bro ! Can’t wait for next weeks big 30 day launch!
technically it's a reaction bait and there really shouldn't be enought time for sent to be an issue but it cant hurt and chris did catch 2 where I only caught one so maybe there is somtheing to his garlic wax trick
Hi from ontario canada I've been watching every episode most of them I've watched 2 and 3 times I love all your videos great channel and since this challenge I've subscribe to Greg's channel and have been watching all his videos thanks for the great content guys keep it up
Try nail polish for eyes. Way easier. I am going to take a bunch of lures I've printed to Popham here in a few weeks. Stop in at the pier if you want to see some tricks. I've been making lures for 15 year anyway. Fellow Mainer for what it's worth.
ya it's a little porous but not so much It wouldnt seal up easy with a clear coat. in fact my popper never took on water. coming to play around with it some more I think and make a giant swim bait.
Well, let me know if you get back to Texas. I'll make you something you have never heard of, but it tastes great. It's called Carne guisada (meat and gravy). Very spicy, but I promise there's no raccoon in it! Lol
Would like you to print other survival stuff maybe bushcraft items or a knife handle for those uts wal mart knives that only have a paracord handle. However if you choose to do more fishing stuff, maybe a 3d printed worm? Oh or a hook... maybe a 3d printed survival card...
I'd say those lures need painted with an epoxy. That should seal them fairly well. Maybe make two lures the same design and deal them. Paint one and not the other. See which catches more fish.
@@FowlersMakeryandMischief color is relative to the water you are fishing. Natural colors for clear water, bright colors for murky water. Etc. I think the biggest thing is just sealing the lures so they can't fill with water. When it comes down to it all artificial lures are reaction strikes. The action is more important than the color. The lure maker guy (can't think of his name) that you recommended for his micro jerk bait video has a video where he catches fish on a literal block of wood...
Awesome video, just a heads up that it's nice to give credit to the creator's of the STL files.... Maybe just link to their thingiverse pages in the description
I can imagine you taking this on the next 30day survival video and printing lures and trap triggers pot handles spoons and what not lol although I think it would excell at breakaway trap triggers
@@FowlersMakeryandMischief glad to be of assistance I just thought there is so many ways to 3dprint scaffolding at different strengths and Even designed to break in a certain direction for projects surely that could be applied somewhere if you have the right pattern I'm sure it could be used as scaffolding in other printing projects an when you take it out you have ready made triggers and no wasted plastic to throw in the bin either or to have to throw away in the survival challenge lol sorry for the long comment but this was how my thought process went when I saw you printing in the boat lol hope you can do something cool with the concept
{bro when your bait is like moving how it was all up and down thats not good the fish don't think its a wonded fish bc its not like like fish when there hurt they don't move like that and tip for the pooper fish like on the side if the bank and like where you see like grass and stuff because thats where fish looking for frogs and when your using a crank bait like jerk the rod to the side when your telling it in ] and you should do a 10 dollar fishing challenge and keep up the good work your like my favorite youtuber

Hi my name is Ryan i live in searsport ME i have been looking into getting my Apprentice lobster licence. I was wondering if you knew any one that might be interested in having an apprentice.
Everyone I know who ever bought a 3D printer has pretty much stuck it in a closet to collect dust at this point. They are fun to play with for a couple days but unless you have one of the $10,000+ printers they are kind of useless.
So far so good here I'll never have to buy another crak bait or popper. and who knows what elce I can print. of course its difrent for me I have the modavstion of makein a fun video
That statement shows a severe lack of imagination for the sorts of things you can make with them. Tons of household utility objects that would cost ten times as much as the plastic used to print them, decorations, tabletop gaming accessories and terrain... If the people you know only messed with them for a short period of time before shelving them, I question why they felt the need to get one in the first place.
was just about to say man poor marling baits but then i saw the description. Props to you for giving him the credit for the idea.

hi everyone I'll be back 10 min before it starts to watch it with you and chat live.
Always a good day when you get to catch Zac and Chris out in the woods having adventures.

Excellent 3D printer, great company! Does a beautiful job catching fish, great video. Love your channel
Very inspiring; I'm not the only one who glues stuff to myself.
Heck yeah you should explore this more. You 2 make a great team (old school/new school)
Looks like a pretty cool printer!
Not bad getting stuff sent to you like that. Haha good for you dude!
ya it is. funny thing free stuff costs me more in obligations then as if I just bought it myself

Where did you happen to find the file for the print?
I'll add that Monday when chris is back in he found them

@@FowlersMakeryandMischief awesome 😃
You were talking like marling baits when you caught the bass.😂
If you do them with zero infill, they won't soak up any water as they'd be solid plastic, other than the cavities you design them to have.
But can you make slingshots with the 3d printer? That is the question. 👍✌😀😀
next on the list
What wire do you use for the soul of the lures?
If you can do that with fishing lures with the wiring and such, you would be great at making jewelry.
I would watch y'all making more lures
I love and watch every vid
Nice video
Very cool
