I unplugged this stupid thing for days. Switched ports, Watched several videos like this. No luck 😶 guess it's time to but yet another firestick. I always end up having to replace them do to random issues every so many months. Thanks for trying to help.

Hi ! I encountered the same issues: first works fine for some months, then no sound from the firestick, no matter the settings, no matter the ports, no matter other tricks... I tried it on another TV, and the sound was ok on it... So it obviously came from my TV, wich was odd since I didn't change any settings on it... So I unplugged my TV from the main, leave it unplugged for a couple of minutes, and plugged it back to the main, and then my firestick had sound again !

None of this worked for me I just unplugged the hdmi from the tv while it was on blew in it then plugged it back in and it worked

I've tried every single available option to get sound back on. Restarted, rebooted, factory reset, switched off dolby in audio, no Bluetooth connections....

All I can say is... I've been chipping firesticks for years done almost 1000 of them. This is a new trend in the last 6months with me... Best thing to do is DONT TOUCH ANYTHING!!!! switch it all off from power n remove cables for an hour. Switch back on and then it works 100% again. I suspect Jeff bezos is mining crypto of the back of us all through our WiFi usage and firesticks!!!!

@@thomasshyne3077 no it ain't the TV, it's amazon making u think the firestick is broken temporarily so u don't use it. Only tech that does this is usually nefarious, it can mean a third party is using your WiFi amd power for theor own use... crypto is behind this... remove all power cables and don't allow them then they will move onto the next victim
