Definitely valid points, and doesn’t mean the conversation should be avoided. But I have noticed that our parents were not taught to navigate difficult conversations in a good way - hopefully we get to show them how to have difficult conversations in a loving way, as we grow older
Lets give it up for The Habsters !!!!!! 👏👏👏 Thank you so much for another awesome episode. I can't wait for the next one. Also, i'd like to ask, could we possibly have a segment where we invite the parents. To hear their side of story ( how they felt meeting Mr Habster as a friend and their experience leading up to your marriage, likewise for Mrs Habster) There's no pressure as to when this should happen, just a young suggestion 🙃🙃🙃😁
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this episode 😊💛. Regarding parents, we try to respect their privacy and not feature them on the channel too often. However, if we do consider letting them share their opinions, it will not be on a Chats on Sunday platform but in a relaxed setting like a vlog.
16:45 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣I relate!!! On another level shame with Mrs Habster. But it is well. 😂😂😂 It's a No go zone. However I don't like peace, I bring such topics once in a while 🤣🙃
😂my sister, it’s time for those conversations to be had. Keep dropping them, once in a while😂🙌. But I also understand that in an effort of trying to protect us as their girl children, our parents find it hard to accept this reality, the older we get.
Question : How would you tackle this issue in the years to come when you are now parents to 20+ years olds? Hopefully you did not share this already and I might have missed it on this episode...
That’s a really good question, and thank you got asking this. Without giving you an extremely long answer, I would need to acknowledge that my children are growing individuals - young adults. If they don’t have this conversation in a safe space with me, as their parent, they will end up learning unhealthy and hurtful things outside of their safe space. This is definitely something worth unpacking in the next episode, though 😊
Habster-nation 🎉🎉
Pupupuuuuuuu 🎉🎉🎉🎉
26:16 I definitely agree. Those are valid points why parents do not even want to hear the work "dating" 😂
