How to use the Tomar subscriber discount code (Tomar1124): A couple of you pointed out that you were not able to find a place to enter the code at checkout. I have notified Tomar. In the mean time, you can call Tomar at 509-528-2233 or email them at sales.tomar@gmail.com and let them know you want to place an order with the code. I am seeing if they can sort out the website issue at the same time. My apologies for any inconvenience. Paul B
Hey Paul, thank you for the great info. I know PF&S for many years. I remember the day when Leroy told me they picked up tomar products. I have been using the caboose marker lamps and drumheads, to light up my customer's trains. "Martin Locomotive and Car Works."
I have some 2-position Tomar Dwarf Signals (green-red & green-yellow) protecting my crossover on my test track layout. They were easy to install, and look and work great!
Thanks for reminding me about the array of products from Tomar. I have a lot of their wheel stops around my layout (these are common in my area). Thanks for reminding me about the signals. I like the switch indicator with light. I can think of a spur track where this would be helpful for operators. This was different from the usual model railroad video, but it's a nice change. There are a number of small providers that we need to support.
For those of us that do not have deep pockets, we_honest (eBay) is a reasonable alternative. True, the fidelity similar to Tomar's is not there, but the signal colours look great, and the signals do work.
I’ve had We Honest signals. Easy to mod. In fact, after I filed down the oversized lens backers and added some paint and decals, a friend of mine insisted on using them on his layout, so I gave them to him. Like anything with model railroading, we have to choose where we spend the $. For me, it’s spending less on space and size and more on details. Noting wrong with We Honest!
Very cool, thanks for the code. Question, have you been to PF&S? I am curious, where is the hobby shop? I went to the “compound”, but wasn’t sure where to actually go? Thanks in advance.
I’m sure they ship to Canada. You’ve got Rapido, but I’ve had some quality issues with their stuff. All from China. Surprised Walthers and the other companies don’t distribute and ship to Canada. Big model rr market.
I didn’t even check for that. They just gave me the code. I just sent them an email asking. In the meantime, call them at 509-528-2233 or email them at sales.tomar@gmail.com and let them know you want to place an order with the code. Nice! Any pics or videos on your channel?
Thank you for liking our signals!
@@TomarIndustries I particularly appreciated the flexibility with aspect color arrangements.
Beautiful layout Paul, thanks.
Thank you!
Use to run on the owners layout before he sold it out of Benton Harbor,MI. Been a quality product for the 30 plus years I've used their products.
That’s cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Paul, that’s really helpful. Being new to the hobby, all the walk throughs you do are greatly appreciated.
Thank you! Glad it is helpful. Thank you for watching!

Thanks for the comments. Agree, we need to support the small suppliers. In the USA.

I’ve never been but their address is on the Tomar website.
Paul , I need to look into this , never heard of them before , there is a lot of modeling stuff in the USA. But not available or stocked in Canada

@ Walthers no issues getting them here
Hi Paul,
What are you using for signal detection? THX
I use Circuitron’s BD-1 block detector with photo sensors. Here’s a short video on the process…

Use the discount code if you get them. Also Trainz sells Tomar and you can use PaulB for a discount there. Either way I have you covered Anthony!
Thanks for this Paul! I am placing an order with Tomar, but I don't see a field to enter the discount code you provided - how does this work?
