I don’t think I’m doing this right cause I only feel a burn in my arms but nothing in my core 😕
I had a similar problem, I just had to make sure I wasn’t moving with my elbows without realizing and maximized my ROM
It takes time you have to build up your shoulder strength, it is a lot of load on your shoulders. It took me 1 month and now it rips my core, I love it.

It may seem natural to many, but is the breathing not important with this machine? When should the exhale happen?
Not sure, but I found it way easier to breathe out when moving forward, and out when coming back in
I think with most lifting exercises you breathe in before pushing, breathe out while lifting, breathe in when getting back towards start position.
