This may seem controversial given all the comments so far, but I actually think it’s the best looking Maybach I’ve ever seen & does more so than a normal AMG SL! Yes the hundreds of badges on the bonnet & roof look a bit tacky, but that honestly doesn’t bother me at all 🤷🏻♂️

When a luxury brand becomes something you see on a daily basis, It`s not considered luxury anymore if everyone can afford it.... RIP Maybach you won't be missed. I mean I`ve never seen in my life Maybach 57 or 62 on the road but every 6th GLS 600 and every 10th S-class I see in my country is Maybach... This is not luxury. FYI - I live in the poorest European country
Thats why this is such a cash grab joke; they could have actually done something and all they chose to do was add an aero cover and put Maybach logos everywhere. This is a goddamn impediment. Could have split the bisected the hood , could have made it an exclusive hardtop Gullwing, could have used the AMG ones engine. Instead they did nothing substantial to change the SL to better fit the ethos of Maybach. CDprojecktRED did a better job with the Rayfield Aerondight.
