Out of all the animals/reptiles etc that you beautiful souls care for it’s not the alligators causing you grief and to run. It’s the emu’s! I’ve worked with emu’s before and they are very moody but usually their mood is run and attack. Lol Good job guys!

Daisy could never be ugly....she's got the cutest face to match her personality. So many fun toys! You know, I noticed that Pebbles seemed a little more agitated than normal. He's usually so calm but he seemed restless when you were petting him, before he went bonkers. The emus have the most chaotic run. It's hilarious!
The emu's never fail to make me belly laugh, i never knew they could be so goofy. Lil dude is so adorable. Sending lots of love and prayers for deano. Porcupines have good memory from what I recall, the porcupine may not have remembered Gabby specifically but it may have recognized the scent as a familiar one and felt more comfortable than it would have been otherwise. The bellowing makes me wonder if there are any animals, if they laid eggs or were pregnant, that a sanctuary would be obligated to care for as much as possible due to various statuses like being endangered or something.
Congratulations that's awesome on the bellow, i know you worked hard and saved a very long time to hear that on your own property also the gators being happy so fast shows you're a pro on their care and habitats not just at handling them :-)
Gabby you are too humble! Porcupines do have quite the complex memory! it's quite possible he remembers you, including your scent, but i do believe those onions are helping 😅
Oh yay the porcupine hath arrived! What a gorgeous dude he is. Love the Mohawk! Must be very confusing for him at the moment but he settled in quickly. The snuffles are adorable…sounds like old fashioned train. You got another love bug. I’d call the new parrot Sunny or Sunrise for his beak color. Poor Petunia it’s so annoying to have an itch you can’t scratch! Is the emu reaching sexual maturity? Can’t remember his name but that looked a bit scary…at least he didn’t try to use his feet. Considering Chris mentioned the hut was expensive to make, glad to see Dude immediately liked it! Dunno if it's something you'd be interested in doing, but ya'll could probably collect any quills he sheds to sell as momentos. I've seen some bird people do that with feathers as well, even the small ones could be put in bottles. I know people would be interested, but wasn't sure if cons outweighed pros for the whole idea.
Baby Emus display some world-class Derp! 🤎🖤 Doing the side stroke in the pond with those little nubbin wings, silly girls. Pebbles was an unhappy boy today..."don't change my routine"! 😠 The gator blocking stick might have to do double duty as Emu blocking stick...that or you guys need to suit up in football pads and helmet before going in! 😃 Will be interesting to see how dynamics change when the females mature. Nice to finally meet "The Dude"!
There is a rescue on Facebook and one of the Emu’s always goes after the wife (she jokingly call her sister wife) because she just loves the husband and gets jealous. I think Pebbles is jealous 😆

I have recently been diagnosed with AGS - so I can’t eat anything from a mammal and I have recently ordered emu to eat. This makes me feel horrible LOL they’re so cute 😭
Love Lil' Dude💖 Mr. Pebbles was just wanting some milk and sugar. He was just having a bad day. Mood Swings hit everyone and every other living being during "Dog Days". Come in July and runs through August 11. Has to do with appearance of " Sirius" The Dog Star in the night sky. Usually the weather is damp and humid. If you get injured it takes longer to heal. People get angrier and meaner, apt for mood swings. Canines get mean. Just not a very good time at all. Something happens to snakes too. It was an old wives tale that they go blind. Obviously when they shed, they do. So this is the hottest time of the summer, please 🙏 do be careful. I can't remember if Dog Days comes in July 3 or 6th. If anyone needs more information look it up. Currently in my area we are in a drought. The news reports warn people not to mow because the grass is so dry, it could spark a fire. Hugs to all. (Gator and Gabby)💖💕💖💕💖 Love to all the critters!!

Love Lil' Dude💖 Mr. Pebbles was just wanting some milk and sugar. He was just having a bad day. Mood Swings hit everyone and every other living being during "Dog Days". Come in July and runs through August 11. Has to do with appearance of " Sirius" The Dog Star in the night sky. Usually the weather is damp and humid. If you get injured it takes longer to heal. People get angrier and meaner, apt for mood swings. Canines get mean. Just not a very good time at all. Something happens to snakes too. It was an old wives tale that they go blind. Obviously when they shed, they do. So this is the hottest time of the summer, please 🙏 do be careful. I can't remember if Dog Days comes in July 3 or 6th. If anyone needs more information look it up. Currently in my area we are in a drought. The news reports warn people not to mow because the grass is so dry, it could spark a fire. Hugs to all. (Gator and Gabby)💖💕💖💕💖 Love to all the critters!!
