I deliberately designed the rooms so that Yoshi doesn't stray away too far when damaged. Glad you used it as an example ^^
this video has an awful amount of Yoshi being tortured and killed for experiment purposes

It’d be fitting to have Yoshi in the other game styles, seeming as Miyamoto wanted to have Yoshi in the original SMB, but couldn’t due to hardware limitations.

Very nice video Tobias, I would like to add one thing you might've forgotten (if I didn't miss it in the video). While riding Yoshi (even as small Mario) in the NSMBU game mode, you're able to break brick blocks with your head as if you were Super Mario. Perhaps I missed it in the video, but I'll mention it anyways :)
A little known fact:
If Yoshi eats a Cheep-Cheep that's been submerged in poison in the forest night theme, he'll be able to spit out poison!

Those boos stacked on top of munchers are a good idea for Yoshi levels. Yoshi truly is one versatile dinosaur, though I wish we had gotten blue Yoshi as well.
What About Yellow Yoshi?
@@Anonymous-pq1tx Yellow Yoshi would be cool as well. More Yoshi colors are one of my biggest desires for SMM3. That and diagonal pipes as well as placeable lava/poison/water in all themes.

Fun fact: while in multiplayer, P1 (player 1)riding a yoshi can eat and carry P2 (player 2) that is not riding a yoshi, or the other way around.

You can bring a Rotten Mushroom into a day area or an 1-Up Mushroom into a night area by having Yoshi eat the Mushroom and then entering a pipe.
Just get a large pit and sacrifice yoshi to reach the next platform.
There you go, that’s how you use yoshi.

I swear red koopas still turned into fireballs in the SMW style... Maybe they only did in Mario Maker 1? Obviously this is from Super Mario World and it would also make sense why it was removed for SMM but idk I remember it still being a thing

That's such a minor detail; also, he doesn't say anything about what things look like for any other situation anyway. I think animations and such are not the focus of these videos.
