This takeoff out of Trinidad is a LEFT DOWNWIND Departure in VMC conditions. This is regarded a special request due to the mountainous terrain to the north of the island. The pilots must have the terrain in sight at all times. The highest mountain is 3,100ft!!!

Sweeet ! Is the 151 kts the V2 speed? Maybe a lighter flight cuz that V1 rotation come in rather quick for the 737NG unless they went with no engine deration :) I love these videos man. Also, I wonder if the captain is the one and only Captain Sookdeo!? Sorta looks like him.

Yes, V2 is 151 Kts. It’s a derated take off. Captain prefers anonymity but it’s not Captain Sookdeo.
