Good info Just assembled my enduro ebike stealth, and my headset has too much play also, I though I needed new bearings and wedges.

Thank you for that information I really didn't know why they would have the steam so high but I didn't know that there was something else in side the steam and I did not know you can pound that down before you start cutting wow didn't know that 😳

Hello Grant, thank you! Glad to help, I am sorry I do not have a link, the head set came with the frame.

Ahh…yeah I used a pipe cutter on the handle bars….I think I need new top bearings on mine….but I the the diameter of the insert tube isn’t right….mine has a single tube design….I couldn’t find a Triple tube that can take a 27.5 rim….now I know I’m not the only person who’s dealing with that wobble
Mine is up pretty high…I have to use 3 giant rings….I have a extra star nut I might pound a second one in for maximum hold….I will definitely be cutting my fork down.

Another option might be to put more spacers in.

Yeah that would be fine if you want to leave it long and you do not have enough adjustment to get rid of the play.

The frame that you get should specify the length of shock mine happens to be 190 mm I'm running a 550 lb spring but it's a little on the soft side.

Loosen top crownand clamp down...had same issue...

    • @samjohnson517

This is a threadless design so all of the preload is handled by the stem cap bolt and you are correct loosen the top crown bolts and the stem bolts.
