Beautiful demo as always. Once you crank it up to 4k and above I need to set tone mapping to gradient preferred or all the subtle details get blown away by the light canon the Z9K can be. Man those are some intense colors on some of the abstract art looking liquid colors are just something to see😍

@jennifergala What do you think is the better tv..? Sony Bravia 9 or Sony A95l..? Is Sony's new mini led actually better than than the QD OLED tvs as some reviewers are claiming it to be..?

im sooo curious. even after seeing 5000 nits mini led, the best of best mini led displays do you still prefer the hdr on oled or qd oled? i wonder what looks best for hdr at the extreme high end

@@kev99gh Hi I tested this video also on the Sony A95L QD OLED and it looked very good. Side by side you get better contrast than a MiniLed. That said I'm about to purchase the Bravia 8 which I love the picture. From my tests it looks amazing at 2000 nits. Tone mapping plates a crucial role on any TV.

@TheHDRSuperchannel I was seriously looking into the Bravia 8. Constantly going into the Best Buy near me day after day after day until they actually put up a demo unit. And I will say that coming from the person who creates the HDR super Channel goodness also say that she is looking into purchasing the Bravia 8 gives credit to the kind of TV set that it is. Thank you so much! And question, which video is it that has the people dancing with flames?

@@dmarable79I find Bravia 8 is an amazing OLED. It's bright and the picture is very realistic and 3D almost. Here's the video ruclips.net/video/TVx3HKCTUVY/видео.htmlsi=Zrhiyqcf1rfbB1nt

This is badly mastered: it's not 1,000 nits HDR10 as metadata says. It plays burn-out. Upload correct HDR10 luminance nits.

According to reviewers it is 5000 nits along with other 4000 nits on this channel. Since you're not expert and you don't know about Dolby Vision mastering don't comment.

Also you can download the Dolby Vision in the description.

@@hdrgamingtv1235 I downloaded the highest quality file of this video available on youtube (2,10GB video) and read its metadata with Mediainfo. It says 1,000 nits which is set by youtube when there is no HDR10 metadata. I know by experience on other demo videos on youtube with the same problem: youtube is not compatible with DV, when a DV is uploaded it is set 1k nits by default. If you analise the video you will see it is higher than that, therefore it blows up highlights. I know much more than you do.
