I recently completed a project I called "Tunnel to the Unconscious". This project was originally developed for an exhibition of construction equipment as part of the Territory of the Future Moscow 2030 festival, which I learned about later. However, I put a completely different meaning into this project.
This work is a visual exploration of the interaction between the conscious and unconscious parts of the human mind.
    Lines of consciousness
Lines symbolize the conscious part of the human being. They are unchanging and stable, reflecting the constancy and structure of our conscious thinking. Only at the beginning is there movement present, which symbolizes a dip into the unconscious. These lines serve as an anchor holding us in reality and providing a framework for our perception of the world.
    Matter of the unconscious
The matter enveloping the lines characterize the unconscious, the part of our mind that lies beyond our conscious perception. They change into different forms, reflecting the dynamism and unpredictability of our unconscious thoughts and emotions. Each form of matter has specific emotions that affect a person in one way or another. For example, one form may evoke feelings of calm and peace, while another may evoke feelings of anxiety or excitement.
Inspiration and the process of creation
The idea to put this meaning into this piece came to me after seeing a sketch provided by Illuminarium3000 . Literally a couple days before this project, there were reflections on the conscious, subconscious, spiritual and other such topics. Due to this inspiration, the creation process was quite fast, considering that the deadline was 24 hours.
    Conclusion
"Tunnel to the Unconscious" is not just a project, but an invitation to think about how our conscious and unconscious thoughts and emotions interact and influence our lives. I hope that this work will inspire viewers to make their own reflections and discoveries.
