This kind of preconception which was common in the past is now starting to get outdated in view of the numerous high-tech and world-leading products like cars, drones, and telecommunication systems from China and it's best to be aware of such pitfalls by avoiding making such statements and risking being misunderstood. I wouldn't say it's racist in intent.
At current time the most important is a safe battery that does not overheat and burn fiercely. Only BYD blade battery meet the mark. The ability to charge to 100% regularly is a also a plus. Unlike others that only up to 80%
By now most cars in this price range have it, so didn't think it was worth adding another 5 mins to the video. Like mentioned, it works smoothly enough in highway conditions, though it can only handle very slight curves. Comparatively I'd say it's about on par with similar systems on Hondas, if not more advanced ones in more expensive premium cars.
Enjoyed your in depth review as usual, Hafriz. Hope Atto 3 will hit the road soon! Nice value for SUV Ev. However, Hafriz.... as for the tyres, what type of tyres would suit EVs? Especially, for Atto 3?

really interested with this car, but i'm worry for the charging port availability. Any full ev car owners here can share your experience here? What is your experience when you need to travel long distance?

On the door lock, have you tried the NFC lock/unlock part? Is it also only on driver side? I hope their upcoming app also allow remote lock/unlock, and remote AC on/off.

Good review. I’d just like your opinion. What do you think this car will be worth in 5 years? An ICE car would lose about 45-55% of its value. This one?
The Atto 3 averaged 14 kWh/100 km with me over 400 km. At domestic electricity rate of 0.57 sen/kW, that's RM7.98 per 100 km (you may add 10/15% for power loss). A fairly efficient petrol car that does 6.67L/100 km (15 km/L) would cost RM13.67 on fuel per 100 km.
