  • With the current (pun intended) interest in BEV's (Battery Electric Cars), we thought that a detailed review would be helpful to would-be buyers of electric cars, especially those who are particularly interested in the BYD range. Even if you are interested in other EVs, watching this video would also help you know more about EVs as a whole.
    We took part in an organized media drive that took us up north to Tg Malim and back - unfortunately, time did not allow us to go up our favorite mountain (and we hope to be able to do that soon), but we did get a whole lot of footage - we trimmed off quite a bit to try to get you only the essence of what we did, and we also added in a full walk-around review.
    Do take your time to view the entire video, and let us know what you think of this kind of review. Of course for our 'mountaineering' friends, we will try to always have a special on mountain climbing.
    Anyway, I must say a big thank you to all our supporters who help us to share our videos to their friends, and also give our videos a like, and encourage us with great comments.
    Also a big thank you to Aiman Fitri and Harvard Lee who always watch our videos and give us great feedback.
    Finally, I think the BYD looks great, and is priced quite competitively, and we wish BYD a great success in its sales efforts.
    And Yes, if you need to book this vehicle, you can also do it through our channel; go to shop.yskhongdriving.com or give us a shout out through whatsapp to 0163350609.
    See you all soon! Cheers!

    I’ve test drive the BYD Atto 3 before and really like it. It is so comfortable to drive yet so quiet. The only turndown was that there were no spare tires provided and this was also confirmed by the sales advisor. It will be a problem if the car breaks down. Other than that, it’s a perfect EV car.

    I just 'discovered' you guys on RUclips. It's so refreshing that this is a review coming from a respected rally driver. Drivers like you KNOW what a car should be able to do and can explore its limits. Therefore your opinion is more valuable to me than most other car journalists. To me it appears many journalists review a car totally biased, and they make up their minds based on personal taste rather than approaching it neutral. Great job, thank you!

    Based on several reviews, I find the BYD Atto 3 to be quite appealing to me. In Sabah, owning an electric vehicle can be challenging, especially for those who frequently travel long distances across hilly and poorly maintained roads that consume battery power faster. Additionally, there is no recharge station for the battery. In contrast to the situation in Semenanjung, there are multiple patrol stations in the area that have recharge points installed.

    I test drive BYD Atto 3 last Sunday (21 Apr 2024) during their promtional event at Bukit Jalil. I love driving the car. What hindering me from booking is ill be travelling 150km daily to and fro my new workplace lembah beringin. I will face a lot of anxiety as there are still lack of charging station along the way back n forth to my work place especially in plus highway.

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  3 месяца назад

      150km a day is less than half the full range. Technically you can run 2 days, and should be no problem. You will need a home wall charger, and plug it in every evening, just charge to 80 percent will do.

    Can you describe a bit more about this car's cornering and braking. Because a lot of other RUclipsrs have bad reviews on both these issues. I am getting my Atto 3 end of this month, so really appreciate your honest opinion.

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  Год назад +7

      As you can see from the video, it corners quite well. The suspension is Macpherson struts and multilink - you cant go wrong with that.
