Mercedes had a 50/50 design partnership with BYD , then they reduced it too 10% and are reconsidering to up there involvement after byd having now a record production and sales year 😊

Thanks for your comment, yes the plan is to cover all the byd range, next up is the dolphin, the seal is not available in Malta yet, but should be later in 2024

From Singapore here. I test drove Seal and Atto 3 this week so my memory's fresh. I ended up with the Atto 3! By the way it costs me around €111,000.

@@peterhuazq why did you chose the Atto 3 over the Seal?

@@Ilanuil Seal has a cleaner interior, incredible performance and driving experience, but I had difficulty getting into the car at 1.84m because it’s low (same goes for Tesla 3 Highland). Most people just talked themselves into getting used to. But the main push factor would be Atto 3’s cabin being friendlier for kids and price. In Singapore a car’s price correlates with its performance. Seal’s base model costs around €137,000.

So Living Australia some reviewers have put this at about 380km or below because of the weather and the environment ( hill and temp differences from -5c to 45c ). I was wondering though I haven't been able to get any information about the regen on any EVs. what is the regen range difference, say if your trip was hiller. Would you get any real difference in the battery recharge or is it gimmicky because to use it you need to climb hills which draws more power. You mentioned it and obviously used it in other cars but for you is it more the 1 pedal experience or the power regeneration ?

Thanks for your support and for watching. The car uses regen like any other EV, to charging during braking ect, it was the feeling you get when decelerating which felt different in this car.
You are correct regarding the hills, what you gain going down you lose going up, but then again think of the going down as a plus.
