How do all three of those bass voices have so much of the same color? I would not have thought it possible to match the color the way they have without familial connection. And I pretty sure they are not related.

Fact about mister McGuinness he is also a COMPOSER. I am intrigued if that is composed by mister McGuinness himself
Its more accurate to say Colm is a Composer who also happens to be a singer. He was a composer and still is full-time I believe. He just happens to also be a very talented and skilled instrumentalist and singer.
No, the original melody is from a vocal group called Clamavi de Profundis.
