    It’s my goal to be a Royal Marine. It seems so difficult and so far away, but I’ll get there - I’ll make sure of it. These videos are my motivation and my information and they’re really appreciated mate, even short ones like this one

    Every army core believe they are most important, rather the whole together makes it successful in their role!

      No one here has said they are the most important

      Importance has no play in this game. There is a job to be done and all operators are fully capable of delivering that role. The Army sniper course is no doubt a tough course to pass, having not attended it I can't comment. The RM Snipers course is globally renowned for its difficulty.

      Royal Marines have been part of the Royal Navy since 1664 .Not the army.
      These men are some of the most elite soldiers in the world due to their recruit training.

    I'm not saying it's not the hardest course, but his example of the trouble he had, not being able to read contour lines, was pretty laughable.

      @christhomashealthperforman9639 Год назад +1

      It may well come across as laughable, however if you have had very limited exposure to map reading prior to joint the forces how would you know how to use it correctly?
      Map reading is a skill that is learned.
      You didn’t pick up a book when you were 2 and just start reading.

      @@christhomashealthperforman9639 I would doubt that they let brand new recruits off the street into this training. I would assume any regular soldier would have some amount of navigation skills

      I am not to sure what you mean here?
      Toughest from a skills perspective was my meaning, not the ability to endure physical stress.
      My apologies for the confusion here.
