Some of the coolest Zelda items could absolutely have their own games made about them. I'd love to see someone make a game out of the beetle from Skyward Sword (as in "you summon a flying creature that you control in tandem with a character on the ground").
This could’ve been one of those trailers where the beginning animation looks really cool only for the gameplay to be completely different and nowhere near as interesting. I’m so glad that this is not one of those trailers. This game looks really good so far!
@@Red_Sutter so many trailers that have a good-looking beginning animation usually just end up being a game with any of the overused indie genres like roguelike, deckbuilder, or dungeon crawler. They also usually have pixel art, but if not they have a generic or boring artstyle. And if they’re not a deckbuilder, they probably also have an isometric perspective. This actually has none of that, the animation is accurate to the gameplay, and it looks fun.
Just noticed that while this game & trailer have none of the problems that I have with indie games, this was uploaded right after a game trailer that has all of them.

depends on what you classify as a metroidvania - there are definitely shield upgrades (ie the glider form), it is possible that you could unlock upgrades to the shield to access areas you couldn't previously to progress the story. Sure it would be a fully 3D game, but if your definition of Metroidvanias is the gameplay loop, not explicitly that it has to be 2D, then it might still be one.

I've had nearly 20 undead follow me on quests. It's too funny when I you have to drag them close together to resurrect them together... I made the game crash when I had too many of them together while snow particles fall in the background. Working on adding werewolf status to the mix. I originally wanted to be an imperial alchemist with the power of the voice of emperor to calm the enemies but here I am... At least I'm not addicted to Skooma- yet. 😅
Okay, this looks wild. And maybe more friendlier to kids. My kid loves BOTW but only plays it to shield surf around, and this one looks like it’s going to have it, and it’s perfect.
Its looks very charming,the platforming seems to have some meat to It and the music is top tier. I liked what i saw,give me a demo ti test and ill surely buy It. It has an " Another crab tale" feel to It (excellent Game ).

Just replace the word Knight with "person" and that quote can hit deep and be relatable for all of us out there. There are times where it's good and seemingly the best, but also, in life we have to be ready for the worst, as life is constantly changing and why we have to readapt and be ready to make the best of the challenges ahead.

I like the look of this got me excited not sure what I want the game on PC or SWITCH mmmmm If I get it on the SWITCH I can go outside with it and throw my shield too just like in the game :P.
I am down for platformers, this looks interesting. Hopefully the switch won't hold back the fps. A demo would be nice, then I could tell if I like the flow of the platforming :).
The developers made this because they got irritated that the spinner from Twilight Princess was under-used. 😅

Using only the shield as a weapon, I like that because the shield is mostly used as either a secondary weapon or as a defense-only tool.
