Never ever heard of Goldfrapp until I went to a Duran Duran concert in London. I hadn't paid any attention to the warm up line up for the event, I arrived early at the venue and sat in the arena and Goldfrapp came on stage, man they blew me away, the sound quality, production and performance was huge energy, probably up there with the best I've seen live and and I've seen many top acts over the years. Goldfrapp performance was by far and away better than Duran Duran on the night too...
As someone who was introduced to Goldfrapp BY Duran Duran in 2001 and have yet to see them (Goldfrapp) in concert, I am very jealous. So happy you got to see them live.
Really not surprised that Goldfrapp were better! I think Goldfrapp and Duran Duran are at polar opposite ends of the talent spectrum.

@@michaellorenzen8200 Not sure if you had /sarcasm on. AG is born '66, therefore now of age 57. No way, she can look like she looks in that video (about 30). It is pure CGI. In the interviews here from 2023 she looks more real. Though, a very good and expensive face job is not unlikely.

The general recording quality/silky smooth keyboard production,of this love invention album and the remixes featured on the album; a throwback to the golden age of dance-oriented albums; on Apple Lossless quality coupled with an audiophile stereo system is gobsmacking. Have always adored Goldfrapp all the way back from their extraordinary album Felt Mountain..
Major Crazy P vibes, which is a good thing. It's great to see her back, even without Will. They made so many great albums together. Criminally underrated, Goldfrapp.
This will be my jam for June 2023, I have already bought it in iTunes. I really hope Mrs. Goldfrapp would have the success she deserves as a solo artist, her lyrics and her music are not the typical mainstream stuff, I hope the 2020's real music style turns alike this album, it sounds a little bit different to typical EDM.

Alison re-debut as a solo multidisciplinary recording artist. She is my electronica pop goddess in lyrics, tunes, costume and visuals. Sad, I can't make it to her live gigs in London. But the supporting act for the NME god like genius award winner The Cure's 40th Anniversary gig at Hyde Park in 2018 was so good. What a taste! What a combination!
